To receive PER while my OH is here would be very special indeed.
I wonder if by some Christmas magic the people at CIO could know that my OH and I are together for only a few precious but brief days, after which we will be separated again until another brief visit at Easter. If they could only know how much it hurts to be apart and how fervently we are hoping to be able to soothe the pain of parting on New Years Day by knowing that our app has been approved and we can see an end to our painful separation. I know they would hurry to send out our e-mail if they knew these things.
Christmas is a time for special things to happen, isn't it?

Well I certainly hope that happens! When is your OH going back to Canada? Is he here until the New Year?

I know it must seem very hard, but please picture in your mind the many years of long-term happiness you are aiming for, which should hopefully make this difficult short-term sacrifice more bareable

This sure wasn't a fun day. Must have been nerve-racking for those waiting for PERs... Sure hope CIO works tomorrow. Maybe we should call our favorite phone number and ask what their Holiday schedule is going to be, so we don't hang around for no reason... I'm betting they'll answer 33 weeks

I am so happy for everybody who already received their PER and so desperate about mine. I know I will receive it in January, maybe even in mid of January, but it is already so long for me.... It is a little bit sad to spend holiday without PER. But also no news on any med requests, it means that even after PER there is uncertain time before VISA stamp... Oh, I think I have a depression about it

I want to live in Canada! I don't want to live here anymore! It is certainly pre-holiday depression...

every second ,i check my mail and see nothing ,i feel ,i want to fire in cio office and hate myself as i think in immigration to canada ,and talk to myself what is benefit of of all these conflicts inside me ,why i must immigrate ,why not to live with peaceful mind ,and satsified with his environmental,financial,cultural of my society for my country ,i know all of these conflicts result of not getting per quickly ,but i feel that i need to talk to members of forum with loud voice to relax my nerves

I can see by your details that you plan to move in Canada in January. Isn't it too hard to go in mid of winter, when everything is under snow and it is hard to find a job and appartment... and all this winter difficulties just from the first days?

Thanks for your kind thoughts, Wayne. Until we get the PER it is hard to look to the future but we made this decision and now it is a one way trip!.
Sadly my husband has to fly back to Vancouver from Manchester in the early morning of New Years Day.
I know a place near the airport - a little road where I know I can stop and not be disturbed. I expect I will need to stop there for quite a while this time to compose myself before I can face the long drive back home.
What a way to start 2011!
I honestly feel for everyone who is waiting for news and especially for those who like me must be on their own while they wait.

It is something I've read one day and kept it in my mind every time i felt i was loosing my hope, and it really sharpened my insistence and determination again:

So please dear friends, keep this in mind and trust that you have done your best and have done your part.
..trust that sooner or later you must hear something and keep positive that you'll hear what you wish to hear...you'll hear the good thing.

number 6 fee payment form and
number 11 fee payment
i will pay by CC
should i print the form twice and put one in number 6 and one in number 11
i cant understand this
