SSA ..... The 1st one (4th Oct) will be accepted if the application goes through completeness check successfully...... as for the 2nd one is concerned (8th Nov), it may not be .... as the CAP reached its limit on 28th October itself. All the Best.

Thanks a lot for your sincere concern ........ But we both are from October batch ....... and PER for Sept have just started. Moreover our IDs don't even come anywhere near to likes of Shakira / wakawaka ...... ......... to get an out of line chance ......
I won't be surprised if the officer dealing with my file had a bad day .... and put it back in the last week of October .... :'( :-[ :'(

Christmas Eve is not a statutory holiday anywhere in Canada as far as I know, but they probably won't be burning he midnight oil that day

Yup I know ...... but for the people who are going to submit their applications AND for our knowledge.
Moreover, I think at the time of landing, the requirement of PoF as per the current regulations have to be fulfilled ....... not as per the old rule .... 8) 8)

Yes, I am thankful for the company ; but can't help getting a little antsy now that we're so close to whether we'll get the PER or not. My heart's beating faster than a hummingbird's right now.

I am a quiet follower of this amazing thread. I went through all the pages and read all the postings. You are simply great great great individuals. I apologize for not contributing to this thread at all but all my thoughts and ideas were somehow expressed by you guys.
That being said I first want to congratulate all PER receivers. You lead the way now. We are next and I strongly believe our fame moment is soon to arrive.

Be calm, wenstumped! Everything will come in its own good time and we will be able to join the party.
My OH and I are fretting and e-mail watching both sides of the Atlantic, as he is working in Vancouver and has been since August.
He is flying back on Thursday to spend Christmas with me and it would be so great to receive PER before he gets here so we can celebrate this important step together.
I am not sure how many apps they will have received between 2nd and 7th, because it was a weekend followed by a Public Holiday that weekend, so they wouldn't have been working and there was no post or courier delivery during that time. So although there seems to be many days between 2nd and 7th, in reality there wasn't much time for apps to be received in between them and us. I realised some time ago that it would be cutting it fine for us to get PER before Christmas, but I didn't realise it would be this close! We must try to relax and not let this spoil the holiday feeling for us. That would be a shame. We are assured to be the next with good news, so what is a day or two between friends ?
It is very wearing waiting and watching constantly I know, but now for me the excitement of seeing my husband again has taken over and all I want is for him to come back safely.
My birthday is next week, so maybe our PERs will come as a birthday gift from CIO to us all rather than a Christmas gift.
