Great, that is better.

I'll keep tracking the members in our tracker sheet & will report the removed members from the forum & the inactive members as well.

Ok cool. Just trying to make sure the list reflects as accurately as possible the true situation at CIO.

Seems 18th August received date is still the latest we've seen PER. After a goldrush of PERs on Monday it's all seemed a bit slow for the rest of this week.

Dr Ray is a member he posted a day or two ago asking to be added.

Well, I'm not so sure whether CIO is working slowly, or we are getting to a time period where applications started coming in at great quantities... Remember there was not enough time for people to get their applications together in July, so submissions constantly increased into August and September. At some point it should level off I guess...

A study of the progression of application numbers under the cap, on the "Total complete applications received since June 26, 2010" page, also shows a sudden surge in applications received. I don't have access to your analysis, (BTW, could you please provide a link to your "Completed Applications..." estimates) but if I remember well, we were initially at around 2000 and then suddenly went to the 4000 area in a matter of few weeks, where we seem to have leveled off.

Just my thinking,
Cam

I am very sorry to hear CanadaJimmy, give yourself a time to relax.... If you dont mine can you give your cell number, so I can talk to you ...

Just phoned them. They asked if I included a Offer of Permenant employment. I said I had, because, well, I did. Then they said (in summary) "Yes CIO made a mistake... but there's nothing we can do. You have to resubmit your application and mark it urgent to reinstate your case."

What a joke. I'm utterly appalled at this. I refuse to have to wait till the pack comes back and resubmit again because how can I then prove that it was their mistake? It's just disgusting this whole thing. I'm fuming.

My work permit runs out in June next year, I was counting on this progressing properly to ensure I did not have to obtain a new LMO/TWP.

The projections are just a tab on the spreadsheet.

They have increased projected for the year, but not by many:
Projection history for end of fiscal year
22-Nov-2010 8,055
29-Nov-2010 8,396
6-Dec-2010 8,730

I think the very first figures published by CIC were around 2,200 on early October - and they're now at 4,780.
Of course July was always going to be sparse with document gathering having to be done, and also August to a lesser extent, so I think September onwards shows the true rate of application intake. Hence with the projected totals are still increasing each time CIC release some figures, but this will probably increase by a lesser amount each time and eventually flatten out - I think probably around the 10,000.

Search for Dr Ray in the members tab & you will not find any record for him.

May be he posted then removed his account

Thanks, I didn't know how to find your projections... Seems for now they are covering and sending out PERs for about two days of applications received, every business day (Sorry if that makes no sense :) ), I hope this pace does not slowdown even further as we get into the September applications received.

Jimmy's unfortunate experience raises more questions... Do they now contact you by email to let you know your application has been denied, or did they do that because this was an FSW2 application?

Cam
Hi Cam,
I am not sure if that's anything to do with FSW2 applicant. Untill any FSW1 receive rejection ( God forbid) through email we can't confirm. I hope things to go well for all of us in this thread and other threads.

Hi AC

I agree with Wayne ............. As for PCC I think VO will ask you as soon as they receive your file .... so an indication to apply for PCC now.... 8) 8)
And thank god ..... there is someone (BTW - you're the 1st one), who has NOT sent the PCC and got PER ........ The other day someone was raising this question. Finally, you are here with your update. ;D ;D
It will be great if you can clarify this - Is there anything different as compared to the previous PERs ...... like anything related to PCC?? You can just have a look at the 1st PER (Physiocraze) and compare the same. Its on page 320, reply # 4797. Thank you.

Cheers, Anil

Thanks anil and wayne for the replies...
Sorry for the delays actually I was out for 2-3 days (celebrating my B'Day and PER :) ).
Anil there is no diff.b/w both the AORs... they have not mentioned anything abt PCC in it.

Thanks
AC
