Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

of course my brother you know it is not easy to wait all this period of time and then you get to know that CIO may got somthing wrong like travel dream and before that we heard about alot of stuff like that

Anyway we don't have anything to do except praying and holding tight to the hope we waiting in the future
and god knows how much you are guys are so close to me

Hi Gang,

I had emailed CIC regarding the status of my application as i need to submit updated forms to CIC/VO. I received a prompt reply from them however it only lists that the application is under assessment, but it does have a "B" number (reply)... I am confused as according to some members CIC is working on applications from october. However it seems strange that my application sent in August is still under review. Hoping for the best...

I don't think you have to worry. You have already received File number. As per our spreadsheet PER issued are upto 18th august. Your's is 20 august. When they reply your mail it is their standard practise to inform that your application is under review, else there is no meaning of PER. Have patience and following within next few days you will have PER in your inbox. ;D ;D ;D

i think i will agree with this term if you recieve B...... so this is the file number and in a matter of time you will recieve it from them

Wayne, I have not said that "B" file number indicates successfully clearing eligibility check. Unless n until one receives PER, we can't say that. My point is when CIO replies to enquiry mail from candidate they cannot say that one has passed eligibility. Even if one has passed eligibility, they will reply in standard format giving file number and stating your file is under process.
I think that they have certain plans in their mind and they are releasing PER as per certain time scale. May be they want to maintain certain gap between issue of PER and application submission. Otherwise we all know that as per members information eligibility check upto first week of october is over. May be they want to simultaneously clear the backlog of previous applications. This is just my thought. I may be wrong also.

Congratz! Excellent Now we know they are going to be up to 22nd August. At this rate hopefully they will start eating into September's apps before Christmas.
