Hey everyone

I am bit confused about something. I received an email from LVO on 3 Oct to provide them with all the PCC's within 45 days for myself and my wife. I provided the PCC for UK on 4 Nov but had to wait sometime to get the Indian PCC and send it to them on 28 NOV.

The thing I am confused about and which has been bugging me a bit is why they want the PCC before they requested medicals from me. I was under the impression and also reading other people experience that they ask for PCC along with medicals.

So any idea why this happened and at what stage my application is becoz it still says RBVO. Dont know what to expect next.

Please help.

Medicals Received line wll not be updated if VO just receives Med. Receipts...It is updated when actual Med. Reports are received....so

Sunil Patel's Medical Reports were sent by Fortis Hospital on 22Nov...and the Line was added on 8 Dec....that means after 16 days.

My Medicals were sent by Vijaya Diagnostic on 2Dec and received By VO on 3 Dec....so i can expect it on 18 or 19 Dec.

I sent PP/RPRF/Med. receipts on 5 DEC.

Ur MR is on the way ..... Hope for good, In reply of my CSE i got the below from LVO

e-Cas is for applications processing within Canada only. Immigration cases being processed in Visa offices outside Canada use a system different from that used to process similar applications in Canada. As a result, the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) may not reflect the status of cases being processed in another visa office.

This system beats me...other VO such ND applicants get their ecas updated usually...dont know why it doesnt work in London lol. Hope to hear good news soon.

Still RBVO since 9th July..........In reply of CSE they say " your file is in process " So god Knows......For LVO :-X what to say .......

NDVO is processing June /july flies..... :-*

I completely agree to this as it is not easy to shut one life and start another

This takes hell lot of pre-planning and planning and planning which never ends as your brain never stops thinking about the pros and cons :-\ :-\ :-\

You surely do not want to make wrong decisions as it can affect your spouse and children and the last thing you would want to see is them in discomfort and despair ??? ???

So its better if people take their time !! 8)

I agree.. Planning is much required.

I didnt spend too much time in India when I was an adolescent. Came to US directly for masters without even a break in my career. Since then I was away from india. So, I dont know much about rules in india on how to lead a family.. I just grew up having fun with friends & family with what ever we had (we were poor). Why I say this is becoz, I want to let you know that there is a check list here that you can follow and get settled easily. I dont think it is so straight in India. So, settling down here is much easier than compared to india (if you are new to the country without any one there).

So, what I would say is Dont worry and every thing will be fine.

LOLzzzz... thanks, satya!! But I think we have been tested enough by NDVO too... I am an applicant from Oct 1, 2010... Got 2nd AOR on April 7, 2011 and E-CAS was RBVO since then... it just moved on Dec 5, 2011 to IP... that is after 8 long months of RBVO... leave aside the 6-month wait before that

Anyway... as always... no key except patience and hope that any morning can be different
