Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Hi everyone,

I think everyone was hoping we could get an update from cic's website regarding the processing times for post 6/26 applications. I realized earlier though that this is far from what we expect. as it still states: Processing times for Federal Skilled Worker applications received on or after June 26, 2010, are not yet available. For applications sent before June 26, 2010, the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, is currently working on applications received up to June 25, 2010.

I don't they will reflect any update anytime soon. So our only way to see how things might go about are the updates we will get from those who have sent their applications post 6/26.

I think it is safe to assume that CIC follows another process/procedure for those who have applied after june 26.This is basing on the responses from CB and Faani.

Cheer up everyone..I'm still quiet postive that they'll do things faster and better this time..

I applied under NOC 7312 to London VO and they recieved my full application on the 12th of July 2010.I have got my new file number on the 12/08/2010.E-cas shows recieved by visa office.

I think you are not one of the post june 26 applicants. By post june 26 applicants, we mean applicants who have passed their first and full application to CIO-NS after June26,2010 and fell under the new category which has the 29 priority list occupations.

Just to confirm, when did you pass your initial application to CIO-NS?

Is any body received any updates of this NOC 1122,any guess is 1000 caps fulfill or not,one more thing I am CMA qulified,and my job designation is "Management Consultant (Finace),Head of finance department under groups of Companies and having more than three yers in this co.\
Mostly i invovled in Decsion making activites,feasibility reports on nes projects,Risk minimizing strtagies,Finacial control polices and procdure any one who have the same or any idea is this type of Job title is falls in this NOC 1122,Please give your valuable comets on it i aslo did Bacholar in Commerce that is employers requirment for this NOC,I was submited my application but it return due to some documents short

Whilst it is possible, I find it unlikely that any of the NOC categories will have reached their 1000 quotas yet.

From June 26th all applicants will have had to gather a substantial amount of documents before posting to CIO Sydney, and I think the application will only count towards the 1000 limit once it is initially approved at CIO and forwarded to VO for processing.

Have you heard from a particular source that the 1000 cap for you NOC is full, or are you just guessing?

A very silly question people, for counting the total number of years of education, shouldn't we count the 2 years in the kindergarten(LKG & UKG)? If we did, with a 12th std, we would all have 14 years of full time education

Please suggest on how you have gone about this one.

hi friends one of my friend want to apply under 3142 NOC which is in d list, but i neeed sum information as she is currently in america on study visa so if he want to apply then he need to send the documents from USA or from india i mean is it possible that her family members apply from india on her behalf or she can fill all d papers and sent them from USA which option is possible ang gud one????????

now problem is only envelope sizee

We sent a bigger envelope than the 9x12 (230mm x 305mm) envelope they specified for two reasons
a) This seems to be a Canada/US standard envelope and the sizes in the UK are different
b) We couldn't fit our documents into the 230mm x 305mm since the sealed University transcripts were 320mm long and were not easily bendable.

We eventually used a 250mm x 380mm envelope and we folded the excess length over so it finished as 250mm x 340mm. We are going on the assumption that CIC would rather we used an appropriate sized envelope than ruin our documents trying to fit into an envelope too small.

I think as long as your envelope is a similar size to A4 and not huge then it is fine.

Great news for you Good luck with your PR. My huby is an Architect and he is the principal applicant. Please could you share your job duties/employer reference letter that you had submitted for your application? You may delete the confidential stuff on it and share(indira_prab @ yahoo.co.uk) I just want to see if we are doing the right thing. Also did you submit some extra documents of your work, like project reports, designs etc.,? What exactly did you send wrt employment as an Architect? Please help us as we are struggling to gather the final documents and one issue or other comes up all the time and delays our sending date

We are so worried if we will not be able to make it to the 1000 cap for 2151 NOC.
