Hi everyone,

I checked my e-cas today and it has been changed to "In Process" as of July 7th.

Hopefully this (along with the new B files numbers that seem to be appearing) is a sign that Buffalo will start asking for meds/passports soon.

I'm thinking positive thoughts for all!

Dear Salman;
I hope you status is this time RBVO or CIO ER Complete.
You need to update the information to the VO immediately after the birth of your child.If in case you receive a MR before your baby birth what you can do is you can ask the Medical Officers to conduct the Baby Medical and send it together.I did this to save time and it worked out.
Documents required to send in Both cases.
1- Your child's birth certificate,
2-Copy of your child's valid passport,
3-6 recent passport size photographs of your child,
4-Updated IMM0008 Generic for yourself and updated IMM5406 for yourself and spouse.
5-"Additional Family Information” form for yourself and your spouse.
6-Updated proof of FUNDS,for you,your spouse and your child.(6 Months Bank statement also requested in my case )
7-A letter for the visa office stating this fact.(subject: Adding your child to your application)

Some thoughts from Kokopeace and Dr. Ajay's cases (both of them got MR issued almost immediately after their ECAS went into IP).

MAYBE there is a chance that the VO actually look at the files before the ECAS changes to "IP", for those who pass the VO eligibility review they will put the files in queue, while for those who fail they will notify the applicants.

As for who will go for IP, they have a quota planning, meaning every month only limited numbers can be processed. And for some lucky ones (and for reasons we do not know) they go immediately IP then MR, while for unlucky ones may go through background check even security check which takes longer time.

Or it should be the case that VO finish the eligibiltiy review and prepare to send MR then put the ECAS to IP?

You are absolutely right Anil, CIIP is a seminar designed to help one settle in Canada by providing useful information and resources. They have nothing at all to do with the actual processing of applicants. So if anyone has any questions related to post landing procedures, let me know.

I am very very very frustrated. All our plans are delaying and I even don't know if everything is ok with our meds. It's been more than 2 month since our Meds and still no Passport request.
They are not responding to our e-mails and on the phone they are answering that no phone line available for immigration sections, only e-mail.

Dear Bucharest applicants, do you have any news from VO. Are your cases moving? Have somebody received after Meds communication? Do they say the timelines between Meds and PR?

Help me out. My hope and calmness have gone. I don't know what to do...

Hi Salman,
Natsmi is right and I have a few additions. Form IMM5406 is the same as additional family information form. Actually, requirements depend on your VO. I just passed this same situation. It was the VO that sent the required documents. I don't think DMPs will do your baby's medical without Medical form from your VO. I don't know how Natsmi did that. You need to add $150 bank draft addressed to RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA. London VO never asked for proof of Funds (though I have the necessary funds covering the baby before I submitted our application to CIO till date) and only requested for 4 passport photos.

Natsmi, how is your application going? I have not been in the forum for a long time. My regards to your family.
