Can you please let me know your friend's time lines ( when she got her MR, PPR request, when her RPRF DD en-cashed ( if she knows ) ) so that we can predict some thing.

Sometimes I feel we made a mistake by sending our passports and rprf too early obviously hoping for a better result. However it is turning out to be a test of patience. Hope the delay at least results into a positive outcome.

We really don't know whether calling for passports and encashing our rprf means anything.

It probably looks like pepole who sent their docs on 30th march or later got their data directly into GCMS coz of which their processing is being done more efficiently and faster whereas we ...who sent before 30th march and so were later transferred into the system ..(if u rem there was lot of action in NDVO from 14th april (people started getting their MRs , grasshopper got his visa and everyone had their address on e cas )

So my point is maybe we were transferred on 14th april and thats why got delayed by two weeks ...

And therefore ITS ABOUT TIME....!!!

it's a copy from Davis Cohen's page, the one who's running this immigration forum?
I don't have a writing of this "promiss" CIC was giving my employer, they spoke on the phone.
But, even if this rule exists....CIC isn't following their own rule...they are simply doing their own thing!
This rule is BS and also the rule they process the application by order they come in....unfortunately!

now its been almost 5 months...but still I have not received any response from CIO, sydney....
on 16th may.....

also I am worried because I have sent DD to them and which has a validity of 6 months from issue date....it was issued on 12th december 2010...so that date is also very close...and this side ther is no response from CIO sydney ....

so now I dont understand what to do...I am completely clue less....
please advice...

I really don't have any advice....we all are waiting for the one word from CIO what hopefully will be a PER!
Even if it's a NER, finally we will know an answer eventhough it's not the one we would like to hear.

About your DD, I don't know what to tell you because I used CC so....
Maybe some other members can give some advice?

Hey Always+ve..

IMO it takes 30 to 60 days for security checks ...and they sent out medical requests immediately after sending 2nd AOR (that is for me )...so which obviously means they did security checks along with medicals ...it started showing IN PROCESS from 1st march and the additional line of medicals was there on 1st may which is after 60 days ...

And also in earlier cases that is pre june where they used to ask for passports after medicals got over...the line of medicals received used to be shown only after they got over with medicals and security checks ..in my Aunts case she got to see the line of medicals received when she received passports request from CHC ....After which she received her passports stamped within 3 weeks ....


But still this is all my guess work ....and am hoping this is the case ... also its good to see all the support we r getting from this thread...

If u look at spreadsheet..ppl who have filed application after 20th sept are either in old system or GCMS but after 27th sept divide is more clear
(B05 is old system,E00 is new system

Just a little update from me.
Made appointment with DMP tomorrow. Also went for PCC and we will get it next week inA. I have to complete everything (RPRF+MR+PCC) in next 30 days. I hope to finish these formalities in next 7 days... and send to Tokyo VO.
I hope Medical will go without prob tomorrow. DMP's chamber is exactly opposite to Tokyo tower. After Med we are thinking to spend some time at Tower restuarent . This will be our 4th visit there but completely different feelings...feelings mixed with canadian dream...

Sounds very logical. If it takes 30 to 60 days for security checks then I guess uzma u and I both should know y it takes 60 days for us. In any case its about time we clear the security checks and have our passports back with visa stamped.
