Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

hi...
now its been almost 5 months...but still I have not received any response from CIO, sydney....
I am seeing the same status since 10th march....and till now its showing "we have received your application on 23rd december...and reviewed it and sent you a mail on 9th march...."

last month I had sent case specific query aslo...and got a response through email saying "your application is yet to be reviewed....we will soon do that and will send you a mail...." (which is contradicting the status online on ECAS)

also I called last month on 16th...in that they told me we had sent you a mail on 9th march(which I said I have not received) and your eligibility check is completed....and confirmed me to respond within a month time....but again no response in terms of email or ltr till now on 16th may.....

also I am worried because I have sent DD to them and which has a validity of 6 months from issue date....it was issued on 12th december 2010...so that date is also very close...and this side ther is no response from CIO sydney ....

so now I dont understand what to do...I am completely clue less....
please advice...

How do you say the security checks are complete 2.5 weeks ago?

Hey Always+ve...

I did send a case specific inquiry ....but it was only coz the address in my e cas was incomplete ,the city was missing ....
I know its been more than 2 months for us ...but i would suggest u to wait a little more ...i understand how frustrating it is ...but i think we should hear some news this week ....

IMO Medicals received line indicates nothing but that the security checks are over .Coz that is their only way of updating it ..and if u take Odins case he didnt get the line of medicals received ether ...but he directly got Decision made...So i am sure thats whats gonna happen with u too..maybe depends upon the Visa officer...

And i am hoping some news this week coz usually after security checks there isnt much left for them to do except stamping of the visas and its been more than two weeks since they indicated that the security checks r over ..so lets pray and hope something happens soon....

My timelines are also quite similar to yours...Med and PP request 3-3-11, PP sent 24th March and RPRF encashment date is 11th Apr...but the waiting continues. I am hoping to get to DM before ths week dies out come what may.

but no update yet.!!!
even i didn't get any reply to the case specific enquiry i made last week

but anyways..

Sometimes I feel we made a mistake by sending our passports and rprf too early obviously hoping for a better result. However it is turning out to be a test of patience. Hope the delay at least results into a positive outcome.

We really don't know whether calling for passports and encashing our rprf means anything.

It has indeed turned out to be a long wait We are without our passports for several weeks now.

We really don't know whether calling for passports and encashing our rprf means anything.

New Delhi differs from most other visa offices in that they ask for passports at the same time as RPRF/medicals.

This means they will shave several weeks off the process, since when they are ready to make a positive decision they can just stamp the passports instead of waiting for you to send them. The downside is, though, that you are without your passports whilst they perform security checks.

If you look at the numbers New Delhi is one of the fastest visa offices so I don't think you complain too much at their system!

Actually there is nothing to complain about any visa offices imo. The people working there are surely not belonging to the class IV employees working in Govt of India organisations/depts.

What is really disturbing is the suspense all of us going thru and the fact the the system more or less works like last in first out instead of 1st in first out.

Count me too, Status of my old application turned Withdrawn about 2 and half month back automatically. My rprf got encashed on 7th April,

Sent my passport rprf ,pcc etc dt 28.3.2011,got rprf receipt 21.04.11. Waiting............... .

Hey Always+ve..

IMO it takes 30 to 60 days for security checks ...and they sent out medical requests immediately after sending 2nd AOR (that is for me )...so which obviously means they did security checks along with medicals ...it started showing IN PROCESS from 1st march and the additional line of medicals was there on 1st may which is after 60 days ...

And also in earlier cases that is pre june where they used to ask for passports after medicals got over...the line of medicals received used to be shown only after they got over with medicals and security checks ..in my Aunts case she got to see the line of medicals received when she received passports request from CHC ....After which she received her passports stamped within 3 weeks ....


But still this is all my guess work ....and am hoping this is the case ... also its good to see all the support we r getting from this thread...
