We need to keep on our discussion because this what really relieves us in our boring & stressful waiting.
call the bank that issued your DD, thats what I did and it took me almost 3 weeks of daily followup on them until I got the answer.adeel41 said:Hey Guys, New update about the 2000 CAP has alarmed me and i am back with a question that how you guys got information that your bank draft is en-cashed. i have just called on the number of Royal Bank of Canada (1-5068641555)and they are saying i cannot get any information about bank draft without the account number of receiver general of canada
Do you have that account number please share it with me so that i can check the status of my bank draft.
By the way you guys are doing wonderful job, i read all of the post as a silent member of your forum
Keep up the good work

One way or another, they will still know that a DD is encashed, my bank called their main branch and inquired, but still, it took them 3 weeks to get the info. I was already getting impatient at one point and asked the employee if i can be the one to call or email the person in charge, but I was refused because it was an internal system.basmalahh said:Hi there everyone,
Congratulations to all who had their encashements recently, especially Dr. Alex.. we were waiting for this.. and truely, I was praying to hear good news about your encashement for being such a gentlemen..
Then, I am very disappointed with my bank's service.. they keep telling me that they cannot confirm any encashements and that they do not have such information in their system!! I believe that they're sincere in not knowing how to help me.. Still, I am pretty sure there is a way, it's just that the staff is ignorant of the procedures..
Anyway, my bank is SABB (HSBC saudi arabia), has anyone got suggestions?
Wow ... It seems my guess was quite good. If you calculate the percentage of NOC1122 for example, you'll find it close to one third, similar to our tracking sheet. Since they haven't reached the limit in this NOC, I concluded that the number of applications received was less than 3000.johny gaddar said:Hi guys,
check this... The link below shows the breakup of number of applications received for the current 29 NOC list till 19th October, 2010.

this msg originally pasted by MNI not me. so thanks to him.
it's been pissing me off as well that our consultant won't disclose information for the BD since we got it from them. i prefer to do the follow up myself but they said they would do it for me. i rather be the one to inquire about its encashment coz i would gladly check on it on a daily basis. :carl128 said:One way or another, they will still know that a DD is encashed, my bank called their main branch and inquired, but still, it took them 3 weeks to get the info.
