It's my B-day today,and waiting for PER cause me to cancel the B-day party sponsored by my mother.I asked her to cancel all the preparations and invitation yesterday for today's Birthday party.In fact,it is our topic for 3 days straight before she finally agrees with me.I can't not imagine to celebrate my birthday with the result of my precious documents.
however,I opened my email today and surprisingly,Canada send me a happy B-day gift today,please turn me blue!Thank's Guys,and know i really understand the pain for waiting the PER,and the joy to received it.

Please turn me BLUE ....TURN ME BLUE .....I got my PER......Thank to all ppl who support me and made me calm when I was waiting for my PER ....Thank to this forum ....Now I should wait for news from Damascus.....I AM HAPPY!!!

I got my 2 AOR today by snail mail. It is dated Feb 21.a new file number. average processing time is 24 monthes but advised me to contact them after 6 monthes if there is not any type of news . no periority. a refound will be sent if not elegible
I think it is the same old 2 AOR

Is it feasible to mention the date of medical request in the notes column so that it will be easier to know the time lines between the PER, and date of medical request. Thanks for helping people in the forum.

There is already a medical request date column in the spreadsheet.

I received a snail mail from ND VO in the morning, it had all the instructions like processing times etc with a receipt of the fees that we sent with our initial application. So i think this is the 2nd AOR that we call it.

OK guys..

Here's my issue...i still haven't received a PER/NER. My application was delivered to CIO on 14th October, 2010. I have sent an email to CIO on 14th February to find out my status....still no reply from them....I am really concerned now....i reviewed my complete application that I had sent to CIO to find something that might be the reason that my file is coming back....but couldnt find anything...

Second part of my issue !!

I had previously applied for FSW in Feb 2008 and I have not withdrawn that application (after consulting a few people). Do you think that could have anything to do with it??? the status on ecas is a follows (for my previous application):


Permanent Residence Application(s)

Applicant Permanent Residence Application Status
My Name In Process
My Name In Process

when I click the first one it says:
We received your application for permanent residence on November 16, 2010.

when I click the other one it says:

We started processing your application on February 25, 2008.

We transferred your application to the London England office on January 27, 2011. The London England office may contact you.

Any ideas???

So, the first part of your question

I guess it's fine to wait a bit more as we see cases of Made11 and a few others. CIO might take more time on some applications. Are you sure your application was received @ CIO on 14th OCT 2010? I ask this because, your ECAS says they received it on 16th NOV 2010? This is something to note, if your application was actually received in NOV, you are perfectly fine, not receiving a reply as of today . In my case, my courier confirmed the delivery on Oct 15th, but my ECAS says they received it on 16th Oct 2010. There might be a slight discrepancy like days, but a month's time is a lot of it i guess?

Second question, Yes, in fact you should not withdraw the old application until the CIC asks you to do so. This will not affect your current application as we have a lot of members in the same situation(Anil is in the same boat for example) and they have been through it completely fine.

All you need to do now is to find out the exact date of when your application was received . In case you are using a consultant, I suspect there is some goof up on the dates . We will have to rely on what the CIC says, so i do believe your application was not received until Nov 16th, 2010.
