thanks for the help inam, i think this info will help

but his main question was aimed towards; whether he needs to send the application to CHC Pakistan or he can do it in Canada?

Secondly, for my own personal knowledge (not his)......whats the difference b/w a study permit and a visa? i always thought they were the same? lol

He will either apply online or mail his application to CPC in Vegreville, Alberta

For SP/Visa etc, have a look here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t110920.0.html

Hey guys,
I have recently received my student visa on the basis of a 2 year masters program in university of windsor when i applied for a visa i was unemployed and got rejected from waterloo and mcmaster. now i have a good job and i feel it can get me into a better university because of the experience. i am planning to wait for one year and work and re-apply for a better univ. i am not satisfied with the education quality of windsor. i am planning to apply to a better univ for fall 2013. so since i already have the visa i hope i wont need a new one next year? or will i? i am very confused because if i have to re-apply for visa next year again on the basis of a new univ then its better that i go now. please help....

Yr dont stay when u have the visa. Go there start the course and if not satisfied then try to transfer ur course to other unis there but u shud go now.

Congrats on getting study permit.

I am not sure but i think you would have to apply again for TRV if you do not go to Canada within one year. Again I am not sure wait for others comments. Other than this i would suggest you to not lose this oppurtunity. A year spent in Canada would be more beneficial than doing job in Pakistan. Please also share your profile.
