I completed medical exam in Sarajevo on 29.06. - as planned per (mine) schedule :)
cost 280 km, all inclusive !
There were 14 people on the exam that day (according to the list I saw)
The doctor also said they process some 50 - 60 people per month

P.s. In croatia in the last week we had two non-working days so majority of residents went to the see. On the highway you could witness the formula 1 driving style almost on the every mile of the road ...

I would also like to add that with the 1ST of July starts the annual vacation seasson, so I belive that Vienna is going to slow down a bit because of that.
See you all on the adriatic coast (before Canada)!

P.s. This is maybe your last summer vacation in Europe, so use it wisely!

A very early good morning to everyone.

Browsing through some of the subforums I stumbled upon somthing really insteresting.
Not sure it its the same case with Vienna, but a lot of ppl have been highlighting that after MR, RPRF and PPR took a long time to come.
In some cases, even more than 6 months.

When some of the applicants obtained GCMS notes, they realised it had to do criminal background checks being done.
Some ppl also suggest that the more the number of countries you have been to, the more chances of this getting delayed.

Just wondering how it is with Vienna, coz ppl here have normally got RPRF and PPR in roughly 1-2 weeks after completing medicals.

I just hope Vienna are doing all such verifications before sending MR emails :P

I also wonder why VOs have to do such detailed criminality checks despite having asked applicants to furnish original PCCs in first place.

Maybe it relates to those who spent more than 6 (is it 6?) months abroad and require PCC from those countries. Anyway, it does seem to take them longer nowadays.

yeah, looks like that. but then it should be faster for people who have already obtained police clearances and sent them to Vienna.

Lets see, I have 1 year stay in UK and more than a year in Germany. Will get to know very soon if thats the case.

alok4best, i understand why you are asking, and it is totally legit question. it does not make sense to ask for PCs and then get stuck verifying the same. there's no point on doing both activities. We also have only PCs from our native countries, and we've been waiting whole month already. and let me point out, that i've sent PCs with an initial application, and it was still valid when they asked for it again. it's plain dumb.

Yeah, completely agree with you.
And if visiting more countries was an issue, then your case should not have been delayed by over a month now.
God knows what their algorithm is.

On the way from Greece we've received our PPR.
Hope we won't have the same effect to canadian economy!
