I have that little gut feeling that we will not wait so long. We see they are diligently work on old cases, so we need to be patient.

Friends of mine received MR today. when they contacted consultant he inform them about another couple of MRs in last few days. They are all from Serbia. 2012 is the year they applied for FSW. some february, others march.

Thanks for the info. Do you have any specifics (i.e. which stream - with/without job offer), did they get MR via regular or email?

Sure. it is regular fsw program that was active till may 2012. without job offer. they received it on email like new fsw2013 applicants do. Also since there was long period since the app was submitted they asked for new PCC. they have 60 days to complete tasks given. hope this helps

I think these guys can be MI-3 actually, and that was the largest backlog of the MI-x categories, but if this is true, then they have finished Pre-C50 cases, and MI-8 can start within 3-4 months. My opinion is that if they want to finish MI-8 cases within 1 year (which was promised), they have to start processing our cases by March-April anyway.

I'm not a Vienna expert (there are some in this group who I am sure will correct me if I am wrong) but I don't think Vienna send AORs. The first you will hear from them is when they ask you to go for your medicals or, perhaps, if they want you to send in some further evidence/documents.

The fact you have not heard from them is unsurprising - there are people on here who have been waiting almost two years since they applied. It is a slow moving visa office (at least in part because it had the workloads of two visa offices that closed transferred to it).

At the moment processing times from when Vienna received your application are listed at 20 months (and as far as I remember the 20 months refers to the fact that 80% of all applications finalised in the last 3 months were processed in 20 months or less - processing times are updated every 3 months and, unfortunately, have been rising for Vienna).

In the last year Vienna doesn't send AOR. I also haven't received AOR, but I got a request to complete the application, that was seven months ago I got a PER from CIC at the beginning of the year. No worries the next thing is MR for all of us here seniors first then we with job offer and at the end junior from this year and of course the next spring is finish for all of us

I am not sure if Vienna sends AORs. As far as I am aware, AOR-similar emails have been sent only to answer CSEs.
Don't be confused by my timeline - my AOR was sent by the Visa Office in Berlin before their closure and the file was transferred to Vienna.

Otherwise, I am depressed. This is the answer to my latest CSE:
"With reference to your enquiry below please be informed that our processing times can be checked at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index-can.asp. Please note that these processing times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of cases between July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. Processing times are subject to change and are updated quaterly.
We will contact you in due course if we need additional documents.
Yours sincerely"

My file will have its second birthday in about 10 days, so it is well beyond the posted timeframe :
