I have just got my GCMS Notes (I am an FSW 2013 applicant).

Basically it is exactly what I have expected. As of 7th of November, the file is in Registry in Vienna (whatever that means, probably file storage), no action was started on it by Vienna (not even selection decision). The last time they have touched the file was on 28th of August, when they reqested a PCC for my wife, and there is a note that it was received a few days later. Calculated points are what I counted for myself, 72.

Let's hope Vienna can start working on MI-1, 2, 3 and 8 in a few weeks, as they should have almost finished Pre-C50 by now.

Thank's for sharing.
BTW - from what I have read, the PER for MI8 is not "final" (unlike for MI2 and MI3). So what is your MI-Status in the GMCS (is it "Met")? This should be somewhere near the top (first or second page, under header "ECONOMIC").

Why would they ask for your wife PCC if they will not be able to process your application before they clear the backlog?

I don't know, Ca7r10na and me were wondering about the same, as both of us got a PCC request before medical. When I got this request, my PCC was already expired (its validity was 90 days, when I applied in May), and my wife's PCC will expire within 3 weeks also. Usually that is why they request fresh ones after medical, because of short validity. Vienna has its strange ways...

Vienna calculated your points as well or they were calculated only by CIC NS?

Vienna could have done a high level scan of documents, but points calculation comes from CIO. If and when they will recalculate it, that is the Selection Decision phase, and if you pass that, they issue Medical Request and possibly RPRF immediately.

Looking at the data, Vienna has cleared 64 cases in the second quarter of 2013, thus reducing the cacklog from 266 to 202 cases (that is all FSW cases). assuming, they had the same quota in III/2013, they should be down to 138 cases by early October 2013, and 74 cases by the end of the year. So there is a chance for the whole backlog to be cleared in the fist quarter of 2014, if they keep up what they were doing.

Theoretically, it should be updated quarterly. But in reality, you can never tell; the last update was early - mid April, reflecting the stats until March 30.
The next update should cover the time until October 31.

BC, thank you.
Sorry for late answer. Last days I was busy which helped me to distract my thoughts regarding our waiting sufferings. :-)

Well, I hope we shall see that next sheet update confirms our estimations.
I turnd on http://www.changedetection.com to notify me when something changes on that page (they have date of last change so robot can discover change)

Cheers!

Oszi, thank you for information, +1 for you :-)
Though, I'm sorry there is nothing new.
We have to stay calm and patient, there is no other option.

If you allow me I would like to ask you something differently.
You said you managed to get job offer and LBO?
How did you do that, I mean how was that process in your case?
I am just curious, since I was happy to be on NOC list this year but otherwise getting job overseas is not easy to accomplish. Or you were in Canada?

No job offer, I will try to find a job after my COPR is in my pocket, like you :)

I see that others on this forum, plans to write @MinChrisA , to complain about the slow work on the cases. It would be good that we write to.On email and twiter ;)

I don't think this will help much - or at all.
Worst case, the VO will be informed about this "complaint", and scrutinize the file even more.
So I would not do this.

Maybe you right ;)
