hello.

has anybody ever tried to call the VO Vienna one day? they just lead you to the voice menu and say they don't have phone service.. :-(

i have an issue with the rprf. I received an email from them last week to pay the rprf. but the link they refer to does not work.

also I already paid through that online tool since i thought i am an inland applicant (i am already in canada).

I've sent them the receipt, but they don't answer. and i am afraid that i have to pay again to vienna directly. but then i would need to get a refund for that online tool payment.

anybody has feedback on that?

From what was written earlier in this thread, you simply can not reach them by phone.
Have you tried to send them a message using their web-form? They usually reply to this quickly:

CIC just published the last quarterly update (as of April 24 2013). The processing time for MI-2/3 remained unchanged with 14 months.

I sent them my inquiry a week ago.
Today I called cic here in canada, but they said I shall contact Vienna about my issue.

Hi, just wondering if you ever got to talk to someone from the office?

it was the same for my friend that got her RPRF request this week. the link was erroneous and couldnt open. She ended up sending Vienna a bank draft. My friend is also living in canada.

no there's just automated voices. I called then the normal number and the person didn't listen to my issue and forwarded me directly to the automated voice which says that they don't have phone service.

did your friend pay in euro?

Hello Everyone. My application for Canadian Study Permit has been rejected. Plz guide me how to overcome the issues:
This refers to your appication for a Canadian study permit. According to Canadian Immigration and refugee protection Act and Regulations, as an applicant for study permit, you must establish that your intentions are bona fida and that you will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for your stay. You must satisfy an officer that you will not contravene the conditions of admission and that you donot belong in a category of persons inadmissible to Canada under the Act. You must satisfy an officer that you will meet the requirements of Part 12 of the regulations, including satisfying that you have adequate financial rresources to pay tution fees and support your stay in Canada.
Based on a careful review of the information contained in your application and all of the documentation which you have provided in support of your application, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Act and the Regulations. I am therefor refusing your application.
Subsection 11(1) of the Act states that "A foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or for any other document required by the Regulations. The visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not admissible and meets the requirements of this Act. "Subsection 2(2) specifies that unless otherwise indicated, references in the Act to "this Act" include regulations made under it.
Please guide me for the reasons mentioned.
I showed Bank statement of 32000USD and Police certificates showing no criminal record. :'(

i really dont know what u can do other than involve an immigration lawyer if u really wanna fight it.

thats bad.. but from what i saw in the letter, there is no reason other than the visa officer claimed that he/she is not satisfied but the reason for dissatisfaction is not stated. At least there has to be specifics such as either, the amount in ur account is insufficient or not convinced that the account statement is yours or by the history of ur acct transactions, not convinced that the balance is truly ur own money etc.

but the problem is that trv visa issuance is so much unreliable as far as what the outcome could be. Its the visa category where visa officers use discretion the most while making decision. they consider a lot of stuffs irrespective of documents submitted. if u have a family member there, its a disadvantage for u, they will consider it as a likely tempting reason for u to stay behind after studies. if u are single, old enough to marry but not and have no kids, that's a minus too... they would score u zero for points on ties back home. Its so not easy to get trv's these days. i was refused study visa too about a year ago after submitting heaps of documents to details with acct statement having 27k dollars on it.. and in fact i just let it go...

So.. i feel ur pain but if u plan to make a case, i wish u good luck. u can also re apply for study permit again but its difficult when an actual reason for refusal is not stated.

I am Pakistani National but currently in Germany for my masters studies. I see language barrier here thats why I was trying to move to Canada.
I showed 2 bank statemnts, 1 of Pakistan - 25000 USD (my own name) and 2nd of Germany - 6000 Euro (off course of my name too).
I submitted both the Police certificate from Pakistan and Germany (German POlice certificate with certified Translation).
Now I am fed up with this Canadian Embassy, so I am planning to stay in Germany. Germany is much better than Canada, no tution fees. The only barrier is the German language. So I have started the language course now.

one of my friends applied for TRV on 5th of February 2013 and he was refused on 10th of March 2013. After that he immediately reapplied and the response for the second time was delayed approximately 6 weeks but he got the visa...

So I hope you will get your passport back soon with visa stamped on it...

There is not so much information available in the Internet regarding PR applicants with Vienna VO.

All who has been processed for PR application during 2012-2013 - how many days you were awaiting for Med request from VO after AOR from Sydney? How many days gone between Med Results has been received and passport request? How long they were holding your passports?

Anyone from Czech republic here?

Just to share my experience:

09. April 2013 Documents submitted for a tourist visa in Vienna
13. May 2013. My application has been refused
24. May 2013. I received a letter from the Embassy - explanation of why they refused me:

1. I do not have enough work experience - ??????? :'( -my experience-I started working a few years after high school, when I finished the Faculty of Economics , I'm 32 years old and I have 9 years of work experience.....I could*n start earlier....

2. I do not have family strong conection - ??????? :-[ - my family - father, mother, brother , sister - I can not tell my mother, who is 60 years old, now to gave a birth to seven another children....And no I do not have husband and children, I'm not married and I dont want to marry....

3. My travel history does not satisfy-?????? -I've been to Greece, Albania and Turkey- few times, Italy, US of America, many times in all Ex-Yu Republic / Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia / .... I am from Montenegro, our standard is high, and the average of monthly salary in our country is less than 500EUR, I no I do not have a sponsor...I pay may hollidays by myself....

So I have a few question -
Does it mean that people who do not have work-experience like students - could not travel or have a turist visa???
Does it mean that people who do not have a big families like 8 brother and sisters - could not travel or have a turist visa???
Does it mean that people who have not traveled the whole world - could not start to travel?????

I will definitely choose another country where I will spend my holliday and where I will spend my money, but I have to admit that I'm very confused.....
