That is identical to the message I got about two weeks ago. It is still kind of frustrating not knowing when to expect further steps, but at least you got a reply.

Btw, there was no automated confirmation to my CSE (however, there were confirmations to earlier CSE).

Hey guys, Yesterday,I sent another CSE to Vienna Office and got an automated confirmation of receipt email (something which I didn't get the first time I sent my CSE ) Then today ,they responded (really quick to my surprise) with the same copy and paste email they have been sending lately to applicants.Below is the email..


Please be informed that due to the heavy workload our visa office has to cope with after the closure of the Berlin and Belgrade Visa Offices there are unfortunately delays in processing times in all economic immigration classes.
You will be informed about the further steps in your application in due course.

But in their reply to my own CSE, they asked me to wait for maximum 6 more months, an instruction that is though unreliable.

It could mean that (a) the replies were written by different officers or (b) that Gearman and myself are ahead in the queue and our files are close to actually being processed (I certainly hope for the latter) Since we are ahead of you by about three months, that might be the case.

Yeah Anvaller,its better to have heard from them but like you said,and unlike your CSE response,there is no specific indication on when next we (myself,BC2013 and others with this vague CSE response) will hear from them about the next steps...very frustrating to say the least!

This is my own opinion...
Since u met the financial requirement as at the time of application, (otherwise of course u won't have have been selected as eligible) I think it is unnecessary to send such update. Unless if in future they request for ur finance and property status update of which they do but only in few cases as far as I know. In such case, u can forward it to them.
Changes such as marriage, divorce, birth or death of a child, change of mailing address or country of residence are the very important change in status that must be reported because such change in status directly affects ur status on record. But acquisition of additional property does not, because it does not add to the point u have already on funds. However, if ur instincts is telling u to send it, u may follow ur instinct cos there is no way it can have any adverse effect on ur processing.

U may wait for other opinions for some cross check!

Don't worry. As Anvaller correctly pointed out, you were put into process, so the info provided with the application was sufficient. If the VO requires additional or current information, they will surely let you know.

Furthermore, since you are a FSW-2 applicant, you are exempt from providing the minimum proof of funds (due to the existing job-offer). If you want to check this for yourself, just go through the operation manual OP 6b (sub-section overseas processing):

Oh I missed the fact that @Doni is FSW2, That even makes the fund issue irrelevant. Thanks for pointing it out @BC
