Probably new delhi. This CPP processing time is a shameless lie.

I don't know what to tell them and what proof I should provide! We never borrowed money.
Each cent of these 20k was our own, earned from our salaries.
It seems like whatever you do, they need explanation!

I don't know if it is helpful or not, but you can provide a cover letter with your new 6 months bank statement and argue that you
have this money by saving .
I mean you can show them for example you and your husband have x$ as a salary and you spend y$ on your expenses, then (x-y)$ remains as your saving.
Some simple arguments with supporting documents (documents show your salary, and expenses like rent and tuition) might be helpful. I think you can convince them with this justification

If everything is in order, New Delhi seems to work very fast on this category. Usually within a month of their receiving the application from Sydney they will send you the letter to submit medical + RPR Fee + Passports. If you don't delay in your medicals you will get back your passport + COPR in next 45 to 60 days. The only issue which might be of concern to you is that they will not send back your passport to your Canadian address but will ask for an Indian address (as it is illegal according to Indian government laws to send Indian passports via post outside India) to send it to.

I received my Phd attestation letter from Registrar office not from dean of graduate studies.

Again in the letter there no handwritten signature. In fact a stamp signature of Registrar.

In the letter there no embossed stamp only a wax stamp.

But content of the letter is according to the format....

IS THIS LETTER GOING TO BE OK WITH CIO, SYDNEY......

Any suggestion regarding this

Yes i agree..i am also from india and was debating the same thing...in the end i decided to go with CPP-ottawa...additionally if they do decide to randomly call you for an interview, you'll have to make a trip to India!... ;D

with high probability this letter is not OK, go and ask for the letter from dean with official stamp

When I approached the dean office they redirect me to Registrar's office..

please see this link . Nowhere it is mentioned embossed stamp. It is mentioned only stamp.....

if they accept the letter from register office as well as dean, then it is Okay, but can you ask them to stamp it with the embossed one as well? this way you would be more sure !

we have seen many people on this forum being returned their application based on technicalities related to this attestation letter...so the best thing is to do exactly like they mention in the instructions...then you have a peace of mind atleast!!
