Got a RPRF request today. My email says I passed the eligibility too. Can someone advice when I can expect medical? Please someone update my tracker.
This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.
RPRF is only paid for PA and a spouse/common-law partner. So in your case it's $490*2=$980Willbeat said:Can someone please clear my doubt about paying RPRF for spouse and kids. The email asked to pay RPRF for PA and spouse and talked nothing about children. I have two kids aged 8 yrs and 4 yrs. Can someone with family and kids who made RPRF please share me whether I need to pay RPRF for kids also.
October 2013 PhD applicants (FSW-3) got their PERs about 2 weeks after FSW-1 applicants did. I think FSW2014 spreadsheet might give you a rough estimation of when they will charge you/issue PER.rogelio said:A question for senior forum members.
Is there any correlation in how applications for FSW-1 and FSW-3 (PhD stream) are processed?
More specifically, can I estimate, for example, my PER date by looking at 2014 FSW spreadsheet? Is PhD stream processed separately?
As far as I know, yes, you need the police certificate from your country, however, it is not mandatory to include it as you submit your application (you'd better to include), at a later time if the application goes OK, they probably ask for itmaniac1986 said:Hi, I am new to this forum. This forum, especially this thread helped me a lot in the preparation for the FSW PhD stream application. Thanks to everyone who contributed here!
I have a quick question to those who have been successful in this application:
As a PhD student in Canada, Do we need to get police certificates and clearances from our country of origin? Or this requirement will be waived for PhD students. I remember we were asked to do a self declaration of a criminal record when we applied for study permit.
I am from China and the instruction from a CIC webpage says "Yes" "...need to provide a police certificate when applying for permanent residence". I checked that many applicants from other countries such as India and Iran are also required to get the police certificate.
Can someone from countries like mine share their story?
Thanks,
Joe
