Yes, indeed the CPR letters were on the same package along with the passports. If I were you, I'd send my passport to them immediately. You should buy 2 Xpresspost envelops, one to be sent to Ottawa and the other one (return envelop), where CIC would use to send your passport and CPR letter...

Just to second what Civil has mentioned ... I sent my passport on August 19th, arrived on August 20th ,, sent back on August 22nd (the tracker of return envelop was activated), now, the tracker says it is in Edmonton, hence, I should receive it tomorrow.

Hooray, the tracker of the return passport envelop has been activated 3 hours ago. It is terrific, it took them two days to stamps the visa and send the passports back!
