I would not be so optimistic - this a misleading statement. My BG changed to In Progress almost 2 weeks ago. And I am still waiting. And there are many people like me in Jan & Feb groups.Ravi_Hyd said:By evening you will get PPR..good luck
True. There is a possibility that he might receive within a few hours, but there is a much higher possibility that he might not receive in a few hours.IcedCoffee said:I would not be so optimistic - this a misleading statement. Sunny16's file is transferred to local VO. Local Vos mostly give PPR the same day BG goes into progress. That is why this statement does not seem misleading.IcedCoffee said:I would not be so optimistic - this a misleading statement. My BG changed to In Progress almost 2 weeks ago. I hope he receives PPR asapcjs said:Sunny16's file is transferred to local VO. Local Vos mostly give PPR the same day BG goes into progress. That is why this statement does not seem misleading.
If file is at CPC Ottawa and BG goes in progress then it usually takes anywhere from 1 day to 4-5 weeks. my BG IP from last 18 days.

Wanted to share my story on this forum as my journey to PPR as a Saskatchewan PNP was an emotional one but with a happy ending
Sent in AOR on January 25 and on June 9th, my application was refused because my job letter did not provide enough evidence that I performed the duties of a University lecturer. Letter had the salary, the number of hours and the years I have been employed but it seemed they wanted something more.
Trust me guys, this letter was like the worst news ever and left me in tears and thinking “WHAT NOW?”
Created a new EE profile on June 10 and asked Saskatchewan immigration to transfer my PNP nomination. Got 886 points and ITA on June 15. Sent in complete AOR by June 24 (medical and police records and IELTS were still valid) and submitted a much better job letter with details of my duties and scanned all 6 pages of my employment contract.
Got 2 request for more info: 1) Schedule A background declaration in which I had to explain why my application was refused and 2) Supplementary travel information -details on my travel history to the United states
Then on July 18- there is was the PPR letter.
Less than a month since my second application. My reaction was very happy tears and thinking “WOW!”
A lot of times, it was reading this forum that helped me keep my hopes up. Nuff thanks Smiley Wink
Good people, keep the faith and the focus during this immigration journey.
London visa office took exactly 28 days to change passport submission office from Islamabad to Riyadh. But finally done now.alee667 said:If it has been just one day then I would have done that. Submitting passports in Islamabad means being there for at least one month as can not travel back without passport. I believe changing in passport submission office is just normal activity but don't know why London visa office taking so long. Anyone who can advise in this situation.
Congratulation!alee667 said:London visa office took exactly 28 days to change passport submission office from Islamabad to Riyadh. But finally done now.
