    How much experience do you have in total? Is that foreign experience or within Canada? One of my friend had similar case as your where he got the deferral because of 5 competencies. He updated those competencies and applied for reassessment. APEGA approved his case and he is P.Eng now.

    I asked coordinator and he replied to expect decision by end June. Which means that "case to board- May 2024" will be decided in May board meeting and we may expect decision sometime in June 2024.

    please keep us posted when you get a decision from APEGA. Same boat with case to board May -2024. 4 years Canadian experience, foreign graduate with masters degree from Canada. Applied for P.Eng (never registered as EIT) as total experience is 16+ years (12 years foreign + 4 years Canada).

    Experience examiner 2 took almost 2 months in my case as well. Mechanical with BS from Pak and MEng from Canada. 4 years work exp in Canada before I submitted my application for P.Eng. Let's see how APEGA responds. fingers crossed! :rolleyes:

    Ask your consultant to FXXX off and enjoy Canada. Just provide the address to officer where you will be receiving PR card and chill. :D

    Permanent address is not required for SIN or bank account. You can provide address of your friend/relative that you have provided to receive PR cards and it is fine with Bank and Services Canada. Later you can update the address in your internet banking profile or visiting the nearest branch...
