Based on history on this forum the Due date does not mean anything so don't worry ... Actually it says assigned from one agent on date to second agent and he has to work on this file on the due date but it seems they are not following the due date...
Hope you are right...keeping fingers crossed now

According to this list, Masin and I are the only inlanders whose bkgs have not started yet. Is that correct? Do we have more INLAND applicants with bkg not started?

Hi Shibaak,
I am an Inlander too but comes under CEC with bkgs not started yet.

You know, I've been thinking recently that people who submit at the beginning of the month get PPR faster than those who submit at the end of the month. CIC seems to move on to the next month after issuing to applicants who submitted up to around the middle of the month. Take July and August for example. September is almost facing the same thing.

What do you guys think? Not that it will change anything, but can potentially take our minds off the wait.

Maybe they do it for reporting reasons so they can say they've started on a month so it seems like they're sticking to schedule. Who knows - there doesn't seem to be any pattern.

I think it depends on the worker that's assigned to your case. You can be lucky and get assigned to someone efficient who flies through their share of the work or you can be unlucky and get assigned to someone who spends their days planning their summer holidays instead of processing our applications.

Even with this trend, I am screwed!!!! :P :P :P ;D ;D
I am 14th. Who knows which half they consider me?!?! Maybe that's why mine is not moving at all! Maybe because mine is lost between the two half!!! :-\ :-\

tried with both but no luck

ECAS will never be back. When I wrote a CSE, in about a month they replied me saying "track your status via MyCIC, please". That's it.
