I was asked for an additional document yesterday, and today when I submitted it. Background check went in progress at the exact same moment!

Has this happened to anyone else?

I have an August AOR. This happened to me 2 weeks ago. They had requested an updated Schedule A.

I am 14th. Who knows which half they consider me?!?! Maybe that's why mine is not moving at all! Maybe because mine is lost between the two half!!! :-\ :-\

Shibaak, you made me laugh so hard. It's good to know you've still got your sense of humor intact despite this wait. I am very relaxed now having placed myself in the middle as well. I am hoping for news from mid February. Anything sooner will be a pleasant surprise. Better that than worry for not getting response early.

It sure sounds funny but being a refugee is in a much more challenging state than us. Secondly, you cannot go back to your home country then, ever.

During the entire period when some is refugee, you would hold a UN passport, until getting a Canadian one.

They might be getting more attention right now. But they have other issues tied to them (some for there present and others tied to here in Canada).

You know, I've been thinking recently that people who submit at the beginning of the month get PPR faster than those who submit at the end of the month. CIC seems to move on to the next month after issuing to applicants who submitted up to around the middle of the month. Take July and August for example. September is almost facing the same thing.

What do you guys think? Not that it will change anything, but can potentially take our minds off the wait.

I really wish that was the case for me.... My AOR is 5th September.... :'(

When I click check Status and messages it takes me to the page but then for sometime it shows Please wait while the system is trying to search your application.
But after sometime it shows Error loading Status table: 502 Bad Gateway. Anyone else having this issue

Lol..we guys always try to find pattern in CIC's way of working but in reality there is none!! Or they are smart enough to not let anyone predict their way of working!

Got the same error . CIC usually updates statuses on Tuesdays so we might just be catching the update.
