Electronic Client Application Status ... You can check your app status in there as well

Go to https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas

and select Application Number in Identification type and enter your application number and other details...

A quick question if anyone could help. I know PPR means "passport requested", but I am an inland applicant, do I still need to go through this process? Will cic give you a new visa or sth?

You are in canada but you dont have ur PR.... I think ur on Work permit or study
CIC need ur passport to stamp your PR visa on it buddy...

hi jeff,

Yes PPR is inevitable any way whether you are in land or outland. However, if you are from a visa exempt country you can just send scans / prints of passport, originals are not needed then.

If you are from non visa exempt, you would need a visa to do your landing (unless you do it at a CIC office instead of going to border). The latter is more common since there is a lot longer waiting time. Also with PPR you have to send pictures for PR card.

All of this is written in the PPR itself as instructions.

Usually couple days after meds passed or BG started.
