I was being ironic and was referring to the "argument". I know, I am Oct AOR as well, nothing new here... Expecting my GCMS notes in a week, fingers crossed

my AOR is 30/10/16.

I ordered GCMS notes and got the following. ( My VO is CPC-Ottawa although my COR is UAE)
They say:

Eligibility: Met
Security:
HIRV:
Medical : Passed
Criminality: Passed

App was sent to CPC ottawa on Nov 2nd. Security checks since then. Is it normal for security checks to take this long ? ( 70 days )
Plus anyone has any idea about CPC ottawa's processing time ?

Hey Tony, first of all congratulations on passing your medical & criminality tests. Security check is a crucial part in PR processing and it will take around 1-3 months (minimum) to complete.

Usually GCMS notes are created within 2-5 business days after your request and it will be delivered to the recipient in 30 days. So, I'm guessing your security/BG check is already started.

What's your GCMS requested/generated date?, you can able to see this in your document.

I would rather congratulate you for the section of Eligibility: Met. Your PPR is a matter of time now.

And yes, security can take more than 70 days, it's quite normal.

Hey Ajay, there are many GCMS providers (CIC & third parties too), which one you tried?. If you are in-lander and requested via: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/requesterInformation then please write email reminder request to ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca. They will respond to you in 5-7 business days.

If you requested through any third party websites then please read the acknowledgement email received after your submission.

Hope you'll receive GCMS notes soon with some positive info!

The notes were generated on December 21st.
Security checks were initiated on Nov. 2 after the app was transferred to CPC-Ottawa ( workload redistribution as per the notes)

yes, they will redistribute our files (anywhere) to reduce workload and to speed up the process. No worries, your security check were initiated already, it will take anywhere between 1-3 months (minimum) to complete.

I'm hoping our October guys can expect their PPR from February .
