It's good that you wanted to make this spreadsheet more transparent but it wasn't the smartest decision to do such things after a few months when everyone already submitted their cases... :-X Yes, there are some active users which constantly updates their case and there are some which updates very rarely and do you think they'll figure out on their own that they have to select this field and choose new predefined value in Stream column?? I guess most of them will not do that and probably will update just some dates, etc. and then we will have no idea whether it was inland applicant or outland and this makes this spreadsheet pretty much useless.. Unless you somehow still can see the old copy and willing to update everyone's case manually?andy108 said:I have update it
You can see the status: Stream, it has outlnad and inlandIts just users will need to update case once and it will work.

Hi guys, how can we know that the security check starts or not in gcms notes. Thanksvickymichael said:yes, they will redistribute our files (anywhere) to reduce workload and to speed up the process. No worries, your security check were initiated already, it will take anywhere between 1-3 months (minimum) to complete.
I'm hoping our October guys can expect their PPR from February.
I agree with you - the goal is to make it better, yes, certain short-term difficulties for now, but long term everyone will benefit.kasinow said:It's good that you wanted to make this spreadsheet more transparent but it wasn't the smartest decision to do such things after a few months when everyone already submitted their cases... :-X Yes, there are some active users which constantly updates their case and there are some which updates very rarely and do you think they'll figure out on their own that they have to select this field and choose new predefined value in Stream column?? P.S. And a lesson for you for the future: if you're thinking about changing existing data model you have to think about data integrity i.e. you have to make sure that it's backwards compatible and no data is lost!
P.P.S. Programmer speaking here. Sorry if I sound unfriendly, but when I see such things, it forces to pull my hair out.
P.P.P.S. I see your NOC is 2171 so you should already know such things...
My suggestion is that "AOR period" column gets thrown out, since column next to it "e-APR AOR date" tells us the same thing, actually even better. And if possible, to disable entering information from those whose AOR wasn't October.andy108 said:I agree with you - the goal is to make it better, yes, certain short-term difficulties for now, but long term everyone will benefit.
The nes structure are easier to get completed, and will provide better analytics option.
I will manually update the outland/inland to reflect in new column![]()
p.s. i am a programmer too, turned BA.![]()
I would agree with you, but at the same time, I had about 5 people requesting it initially... thats why it was addedjohnny123 said:My suggestion is that "AOR period" column gets thrown out, since column next to it "e-APR AOR date" tells us the same thing, actually even better. Appreciate your effort tou!
Hey, check your GCMS notes 2nd page (ASSESMENTS section) for more details. I hope you'll find something like:tukelly said:Hi guys, how can we know that the security check starts or not in gcms notes. Thanks
FSW inland.andy108 said:one PPR today for October guys... https://myimmitracker.com/ca/trackers/aor-october-2016-permanent-residency-tracker/cases/case-9511
AOR 28/10
That's strange. What else do they expect to see there except October AOR, if that's the name and foundation of the spreadsheet anyway? :-\andy108 said:I would agree with you, but at the same time, I had about 5 people requesting it initially... thats why it was added![]()
