Hi guys...

Is there anyone who would be kind enough to explain the procedure to apply for PNP from outside of Canada? I have seen lots of outland applicant applied with PNP approval...I always wondered how to do that.. I really need to know.

Can anyone please help me with that? Anyone please?

Thanks

Not sure what you mean with this question. There's really no special or different procedure to apply for PNP outside of Canada. If there's a mail requirement, it's just more expensive to mail internationally, that's all.

However you'll notice that outland applicants usually apply to a PNP that don't require a job offer to be nominated, if you were wondering how outland applicants get nominated.

Not all PNPs require a job offer. There are a few sub-streams that accept applicants without a job offer. I guess your experience is only with BC PNP that requires a job offer, but not all provinces do.

Your friend has to wait for a PNP stream with no job offer required to open their intake. And then follow the instructions to apply. That's all.

There are none that are open right now. They fill up very quickly for obvious reasons. It's just good timing and a bit of luck.

Hope that clears it up.

Let your friend check this forum or http://www.cicnews.com for updates. That's how I found out about new PNPs.

Congratulations and all the best for your time in Canada!

Just curious where everyone was in this process.

EE application submitted 9/2015. Invitation to apply a week later. Application submitted 11/2015. Pre-emptively completed and submitted medical exams with the application 10/2015.

Haven't heard a thing since 11/2015. 5 months now. LMIA supported application with job in hand.

so would u suggest that i do the landing when i return back . i have travel plans in September and if i do get my passport and CoPr, should i still wait till September when i am returning back from my trip ?

Just ensure your medical is still valid at the time of landing - it's valid for 12 months.

Hi Tiffany,

I went to Canada post today and they had two sizes for Xpresspost envelopes. Was your self-addressed envelope the smaller size, which you put in a larger envelope? I'm wondering whether the size might be too small for COPR documents.

Hi NaomiA,

Even I did in the same way.... your Regular size envelope (for return mail) will go into Large size envelope along with passport, letter and 2 photos
