I just noticed someone in November datasheet has been rejected for expired PCC, but I can't find his/her post about this rejection. Are they really reject a case for expired PCC? My PCC was one year old, but I haven't traveled to that country after date of issue (I've explained this point in my cover letter). Do you think that I need to take any action (like applying for a new PCC and send it to them)?

dont worry , as per his post he was there in that country even after the issue date of PCC,

that may be the reason.

My suggestion would be to apply for a new PCC asap and attach it to your application via a CSE
Most PCC's have a validity period of 3-6 months regardless of whether you have returned to the country or not
Good luck

i have the same situation.

i studied in China for 5 years and on my final flight to home i took the police certificate.

This certificate is 3 years old but the point is there is no expire date on police certificate.

i tired to get the new police certificate via my frd but police station just simply refused and told him that one is already issued and there is no need for another one as i did not came back.

so i have no other option to use the 3 year old certificate. Do u think i need to put the explanation letter or any other advice will be appreciated.

Many Thanks...

A few hours ago I have received an email from my local VO - Request for Submission of Passports !
Still cannot believe this.
I have two applications - one was mistakenly cancelled - AOR August 24th.
So I reapplied with a new one while I waited for the other to be reopened. The new one AOR was Nov.15th. And the new one was just approved (No access to Ecas, MYCIC no change).

Thanks for your responses.
How can I add the new PCC to my application? Will they update my application as soon as they receive it or it takes time?

Congrats, Michal! :D

You can update your application using the link below,

Just to add on your need for applying for a new PCC, have a look at the link below

I hope this helps

Hey bro,
First of all I want to say Congratulations.

I want to tell you same situation happened to me when I applied for my Visitor Visa. My CIC account didn't had any update since AOR then my local VO sent an Email states that your Visa is approved and proceed to send your passport to finalize your application.

Again congratulations my friend and wish all the best for all of us.
Regards,

It seems that CSE is for the visa offices outside of Canada (as stated in the first page). What is the procedure for the ones who are inside Canada?
