I just got my GCMS notes. My question is, does a call center agent prepare and send the notes or an immigration officer? Did they actually open my file to prepare the notes? Does it help them give attention to my case or does it have no effect on the actual process? Does anybody know? Thanks.
Honestly, I feel it does not change anything.
I did not call CIC or ask for a single GCMS during the first 6 months. My representative called once after we passed the 6 month mark and I was fortunate to get someone who told us everything was fine.
I have read about some people who were able to send more supportive documents to help their application based on their GCMS, but I really do feel that it doesn't change anything for most of us.
Getting a rude and bored response when calling them sometimes makes it worse.
However, if it helps to reassure us, and maybe that's a good enough reason to do it.
