Hello everyone,

I am FSW Inland AOR 11th January. Can we travel outside of Canada while our PR application is still being processed? I plan to visit India in April/May for a month. Can I do the same without having to go through any further document submissions with the IRCC? Do I need to inform IRCC of my travel plans?

You don't need to inform IRCC about your travel plans. However, if your trip is gonna be long say for around 2 to 3 months, then you would need to update your address.

It won't be longer than a month for sure. But someone told me that if I travel to India, I will have to submit a new PCC again.

My manager is asking me to go back to India by March end.
I'm on a closed work permit and it's valid till Aug 2018. Please suggest for options. I'm looking to stay in Canada.

I saw some other comments in forum, many have their eligibility updated in 2-3 weeks or atlease their medical s checked in 2-3 weeks.
I do not understand the time variation for each candidate.

First, If you want to stay in Canada, you are fine. But the problem is, you are not allowed to work elsewhere. Second, you can apply for the Open work permit and explain about your situation, they may consider that. In that case you are good to work anywhere.

Case by case is different. But the normal trend is about 50 plus days for Inland candidates for their medical. My case was super slow. Got my medical after 9 weeks and after 10 weeks they sent back my file due to PCC from Korea (I collected that from Embassy, but the PCC collected from embassy doesn't have so called Lapsed record ). Now I need to re-apply

Anyone knows if your application got cancelled how long would you be notified?
If you've been waiting for more than 1 month without any changes in your status is it consider "safe"?

Wow, that sucks man!! In order to reapply did you have to create a new EE profile?
It seems like a loong process and a pain in the ass to reapply..

Re-application really sucs. I think you'll just need to apply for PCC again for Korea and I think your process will be delayed by a month or two.

Mate, I take my words back, cant find any - although i still believe i saw in one of the spredsheets just cant find it.
