yes, you should receive an email about your application being updated, however, this email sometimes takes up to 24 hours to arrive.

Perfect, thanks!

Thanks for keeping me sane guys. I see none of the CEC cases have seen much movement yet. Over two weeks since AOR and no updates for me either....

I added my case to the tracker.

I added my case to the tracker.

If you look at the December and November thread you'll see that CEC Inlands take around 60 days to see movement in their case. But the from that point onward sit goes quite quickly.

What about CEC outlands? There is hardly any information on those cases.

You're correct as most CEC tend to be Inland!

If I'm not mistaken there was a recent PPR in the NOV thread for a CEC Outland ( so that's PPR within 3-4 months)... But I believe CEC Outland should see updates like any other outland, initially quite quickly.

AOR on January 1. FSW outland no change in medicals still. This harrowing wait. :(

If you're inland then you'll need to wait 30-60 days, so it's still in time.
For outland your medicals are taking a long time... :(

Just hope everything is fine and I see some progress

According to the tracker, only 12% of the people in January have received Meds Passed. (https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/january-2017-aor-permanent-residency-tracker/analytics/statuses-by-day-of-submission-for-january-e-apr-aor)
I'm in the same boat as you are, meds have not passed for me yet (AOR Jan 10th).

Wow, I would be happiest with that outcome, but if my file is at NDVO, then I am out of luck as far as processing times are concerned because NDVO thread says even Aug/Sep applications have yet to receive PPR. However, at this point, I would be happy even to see Meds : Passed.

90% of 12% are fsw. Pnp and cec applicants receive an update a bit later. Dont worry mate and be patient and positive. Hopefully each one of us gets through.

Are you sure your file is with NDVO? It's only been 10 days since your AOR so it's likely to be at Ottawa still.

I am not sure at all. I am just speculating. Does it work that way? That it is first at Ottawa and then inevitably gets transferred to the office of my residence? (NDVO)

Yes, it is typically 'transferred' to your LVO (NDVO in your case) after the A11.2 are complete and OK. This is USUALLY when you BC changes from NS back to NN.
