There is a tracker already: Jan AOR Tracker lets not confuse anyone by multiplying them and creating new one each day.

I can make you admin of this spredsheet

Hey Andy,

I really don't mean to step on your toes, I just personally think people prefer online google spreadsheets over a tracker involving registration. The whole point is that we gather as much information as possible about other people's timeline in order to better understand our own.

I know I stumbled on the immigration tracker and as soon I clicked on "Add a case" and saw that I have to sign up I thought: ughh maybe I shouldn't. I'm sure it's the case of many others as if you compare the December group there are 87 people who inputted information in the excel spreadsheet, while only 38 in the immigration tracker.

I've registered, but I agree that registering is a pain and will throw some people off. I think having the two options will ultimately give us a more complete picture.

Registration takes roughly 30 seconds.

No private data being collected.

Tracker is always updated. Compared to the spredsheet, where 90% never update beyond first 1 months... look at the past spredsheets :)

This is a decision for everyone, who prefers what.

Trackitt.com - has over 1 million users.

We have about 15000 users, and people are trully enjoing the benefits.

Google Spreadsheet benefits: no registration required
Google Spreadsheet disadvantages: rarely get updated (check previous months - september, august - dead spreadsheets pretty much), no way to watch a case, get reminders, no way to update a case yourself, people forget about it

Tracker benefits: You can watch a case, comment on a case, see a timeline, update whenever needed, users sent reminders after 60 and 90 days to update a case. + Analytics, Reports, messaging.
Tracker disadvantages: 3 minutes registration.

Anyone can choose. I am just trying to be helpful :)

that's what I thought at first but it really wasn't that big of a deal after going through it. it's pretty easy, plus one positive thing about it is that you can watch other cases, this way if someone (you're watching) updates his statuses, you'd receive an email about it.

I don't mind either and I entered my info in both, and it really is not that confusing in my opinion

Thank you both for your efforts we truly appreciate it.

The tracker is good, no arguments from me with regards to that! But I still think 50% of the people wont bother registering. I may be wrong though... quite happy to be wrong here ;D

I'll have to agree with andy108. The process took me less than 3 minutes and it's a much more solid tool. It allows you to see stats for previous applicants and for other months all in a single page. The spreadsheet will get disorganized very quickly.

I suggest we go forward using only one tool (the tracker) instead of having the information spread among different places.

Hey holbond,

Here is a link to the December group, since you technically submitted in December: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/express-entry-eapr-submitted-in-december-2016-t462995.570.html

In regards to the timeline, it changes from once case to another and no one has a definitive answer. According to IRCC the average processing time is 6 months.
