That weird and funny at the same time... how can they not want a PCC from a country?

Anyway, better for you although you don't need to get a PCC from there anyway as you've not spend more than 6 months there.

Well Yemen has been in war since 2011, and since then there has been no stable government. How reliable would a PCC from there be? I'm not even sure if the infrastructure of any form of intelligence still exists there.

In the link I sent, IRCC's suggestion in order to get a PCC is to actually go to Yemen and get one. The airport at the capital city has been under siege on and off for a couple of years now, so if they really ask for one I'm not sure what I'm gonna do.

You get an email notification every time an agent accesses your case. It's a good sign! That means someone is working on your application.

Also ensure that the different statuses under your application are still the same. Some changes that can go unnoticed are like background check going from Not Needed to Not Started. You might want to save your status and compare with every time you get an email.

I have the same status.

I think first they will finish Review of Eligibility before going further, if application is not eligible/incomplete it will be returned and fee will be refunded.

call centre agent told me this, updated means someone accessed your app and had a look at it for whatever reason

Excellent point Sir! I can now see WHY they say you don't need a PCC... I don't think they'll ask you and if they do you can say that it's not safe and you've not lived there for longer than 6 months so by their own ruling it shouldn't be necessary.

You're running myimmitracker... excellent! You're just the man I'm looking for... How do I do a query on how long has it taken to get AOR for Brazilian people? I've been told all Brazilians go through SPVO (São Paulo VO) and it's a slow VO... wanted some concrete data...

You see we only have ~450 records so far in the main e-APR Tracker which is not much, as compared to a working sample of 1000 cases would give a very accurate prediction (for example for Australia our largest tracker has 3000+ cases and we can predict visa approval date with super-accuracy: +/- 10 days usually).
