I am facilitating the watsapp groups and running myimmitracker.

i am starting to get very worried :-X
anyone else on the same boat?

They will not check detail on every short holiday or business trip you went to. Most likely they will check some standardised database where is it available. However they can contact those where they see potential risk.
But they will definetly check following:
1. your country of citizenship - if it is still possible (country does exist) and reasonable (you left that country in the past as a refugee). They will do also crosscheck for your spouse even if non accompanying
2. All countries where you stated some kind of residential status in list of adresses (even if you do not require PCC from it)
3. All countries for which you did governmental job or where you were affiliated in certain type of organisations
4. Countries, where they see regular visit pattern (lot of business trips and such).
5. They can even consider countries of citizenship and residency of your parents, children and siblings.
All above is just my own opinion.
g126 said:Não sofra por antecipação! I'm sure there are many other factors that contribute to BC taking a long time and it's not just traveling alone.
If you've traveled a lot to Florida to go to Disney world, I think you're OK... If you've travelled a lot to the middle east to conduct business, then perhaps not so ok... If you've travelled to Syria and appear in videos holding an AK-47... Then definitally not OK.![]()
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/mid-east/yemen.aspYou do not have to provide a police certificate from Yemen unless we ask for one.
moelaghil said:I've only spent 4 months outside of Canada since I turned 18, 3 out of those 4 months were in Yemen where you can't even get a police certificate. IRCC doesn't want it:

So I would hope that my background check goes by relatively fast, as there is literally no documents that I could've submitted for PCCs.
