I do not think atm, BGC going in progress has any affect on when we get the PPR. It could have been earlier, but its not a sure shot! My BG went in progress more than two months ago and since then nothing. (AOR 26th feb)

which agrees with my hypothesis and equation: no matter when BG changes in progress for the second time the overall wait time is around 182 days. So if you plug in your aor date your projected PPR would be Aug 8 +- 4 days.
Of course every case is different, and I analyzed only data from people who got PPR already and reported it here. Thought it would be fun for people to plug in their data and get a "guestimate" of their PPR date.

I was lucky this morning too. Got my PPR early in the morning. My AOR was Feb 13,2016 and background check went to in progress on July 15.

Unfortunately there's not enough data for people in this group.
But if to assume that it is the security check that went in progress (that's usually what it means when BG goes in progress for the second time), then the "guestimate" of the PPR date would be August 20th (or rather 22nd, which is a Monday).

Wonder where the self proclaimed experts on the process are who were saying there wont be any PPR rain by IRCC now as the earlier was due to a backlog!!!!!

If they had issues with your meds, you wont get the passport request email yet. Congrats!

One of my Cousin's has applied for a student visa late July. It's been 16 days. He didn't get any response from NDVO yet.

Expect some delay for PPR. They will give preference to student Visas as Schools start end of August and 1st week of September.

Don't worry about the delay thinking that something is wrong with your application.
