Did anybody not clear the medical examination. If yes for what reasons. Is there any problem caused in medical tests because of smoking.

No problem in medical tests because of smoking! Unless your lungs are really screwed and you have breathing difficulties.

Do ORDER GCM NOTES FOR PEACE OF MIND...

Few things for you to consider:

1)your profile not even reached the 3 month mark.
2)Jan 2016 had 3 rounds of invitations with the highest number of invites issued...so its naturally gonna take time for our applications to finish

Keep calm & hopefully we get COPRs within the next 2 months

How did you go about getting your GCMS Notes? Someone on this thread suggested GCMSnow -- Is this a reliable website?

I reside in Canada so I can use :

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/

Howvever for non residents they can use GCMSnow etc they all are using teh same process.

I have ordered it from GCMSnow.com . Procedure is simple, they need some basics details like DOB,UCI,Name etc . First they ask for payment and then they get the form filled up online . After submitting, they will email us one more form where we have to sign it and send them back . On the same day they will send the confirmation email that notes request has been submitted .

Thanks for the info!! :)

Also thanks to rimmigrate!!

Did you also get the call?

Nope. No calls or ghost mails -- must be so ghostly that I missed them :D

Thank you for the kind words! I guess like most people, I have quite a bit riding on this coming on time. Fingers crossed!

This might sound silly, but I just put in some dummy information in the above link, and nothing in the forms actually verify whether I'm a Canadian Citizen or a PR. What's stopping me from directly applying through the official channel?

Does someone from the CIC call my nominee to check if this is a bona fide request?

So, can someone who lives in Canada apply for GCMS notes on my behalf from this link??

And what is the timeline to get them back?

LOL.
yes that is doable but that would be unethical and if by some means get caught would you jeopardize your PR on such a small piece.

Yes you just have to give them representation rights.

I got mine ins 15 days but i have seen people getting in 30-40 days.

I have applied for the GCMS notes and after skimming through 74 pages document sent by CIC, here's my case summary -

The following items have happened in the same order since the day of submitting and eAPR.

ITA eligibility (Age, Marital status) - Met
NOC verification - Met
Funds eligibility - Met
ECA review - Passed
Medical - Passed
Employment verification (call made to Canadian Employer, but not to Indian employers) - Met
Criminality - Passed
RCMP check - No records found
Bio metric scan - Not required

File has been transferred from CPC - Ottawa to CIC Vegerville on 3/29/2016 for Workload redistribution

Application Assessment - Assigned to RC-9515; due date 4/29/2016
Security check - Assigned to SIEBEL Administration office; due date 4/21/2016

So my understanding is that, File is being processed at the background but not all the status is updated online. Most of the eligibility is reviewed before Medicals.

GCMS request took 20 calendar days.
