Here are my thoughts, I hope they will help you somehow.

1. You need to wait for layoff anyway, if you have ready to go job, then just wait for the layoff, then you can simply move to your new job. It will help you to be in the same job as long as possible.
2. After moving to a new job, you need to send a note to CIC with detailed explanation of what happened and DETAILED info about your new job. It will be better also to send some papers, scans and proofs about your new job. Also put subject as URGENT, so they will have your updated status right away.

Sorry, if I could not answered to all your questions, but I think you will be fine, just do not panic and keep calm!

That's really help me. When you send right away, what do you mean?. In all the application that I submitted so far, the minimum waiting time was two to three months.

The latest report, which provided data on the first 12 months (23 draws) of Express Entry, was produced by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC, formerly known as CIC). It followed a similar report that was produced last July. By comparing the two reports, we can arrive at some hard conclusions:

In the first 11 draws from the pool, 85.5% of invited candidates were residents of Canada.

I mean you need to send a note to CIC, maybe an email, or I would do a regular post with all explanations and scans of documents...

I applied for GCMS on 5th April and today i have received the PDF.
Its a 114 page long document will take me time to read it .
But for those who planning to file GCMS notes, i would say do it as it appears their work load is reduced coz they sent mine in 15 days whereas i have seen 40 days in some cases.

R10 ok on 02/23/2016

What I have understood is when your BG goes to not started at that time your R10 is cleared. MY R10 got cleared on 02/23 and thats when my status changed.

I have a question. My wife completed her master in India and at the time of creating EE entry profile I satted her education as Master and got ITA. I applied an recd AOR as well. But, WES evaluate her master as Bachelore degree. Can it lead to rejection of my application . Please advise.

How is Masters evaluated as bachelors?

Intended city to stay: Ottawa, Ontario

Just LMIA and new work permit, moving to Montreal, Quebec

Will that be an issue with my PR application? As per the rules FSW must NOT have intention to stay in Quebec.

I suggest that you not move to Quebec. The province of Quebec has its own immigration program (exclusive to the EE program run by IRCC). If its possible do not move to Quebec.

You run the risk of possibly excluding yourself from the EE process (despite the fact that you may have submitted an application).

Yes seems we have a very similar status. I wonder how long the 'Security Clearance' will take.

I would suggest order GCMS notes to get better insight.

Credentials = Master
Canadian equivalency = Bachelor's

is that means that WES evaluate it as "Bachelor's" right ?
