Finally, after a month of waiting after we submitted our passports, PR Final Decision is approved. Another waiting game for the return of our passports, visa and COPR. ;D

In Dec spreadsheet if you filter with CEC category, you will see none of the applicants have got PPR as of yet.

So frustrating and discouraging :'(

Hi,

I was also checking that yesterday. In my opinion, CIC is having backlog due to refugees intake at the end of 2015. Thats why they are sending files to ouside offices. Also, most of the candidates who got PPRs have PNPs, making eligibility assessment to very minimal for CIC (less time consuming) as provinces have already assessed for the eligibility.

To take care of the backlog they have reduced the new ITAs to around 1000 per draw instead to 1500 previously. The year end report claims 80% of the CEC files were finalized with average processing time of 3.5 months is a thing of past now. Hope everyone gets PPRs soon.
