Can you please share more details on your application.

When you got PPR ?
What kind of letter did you submitted in Offer of employment?
When is your current work permit expiry date ?

Thanks

I didn't say I have got PPR. My application is still in progress and waiting for final BG change. I'll keep you posted with the updates.

You are fortunate to work in such kind of company. Many companies not ready to provide any letter to employee

Indeed a lot of them are not. That's why you have to be careful from the start in saying you have a valid job offer, because without that letter, you don't.

100% true. But I believe CIC should specify it clearly that if an employee is working on Full-time basis with an organization then they don't to mention again their offer is valid for at least one more year. That will help many ICT folks.

They explain very clearly what is needed:

A valid job offer has to be:

- made by one employer
- for continuous, paid, full-time work (at least 30 hours a week),
- for work that is:
for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa
not seasonal, and
-in a job that is Skill Type 0, or Skill Levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC)

It's very, very clear.

Hey , I got my Medical passed today :)

------------------------------------------------------------------
Stream : CEC Inland
EE Score : 474
ITA : 4th Jan 2017
AOR : 28th Feb 2017
MEDICAL passed : 23rd March 2017

Please connect to this thread if anybody applied for PR under Express Entry in Feb or May and in painful stat of waiting.

i too applied with 50 additional points. My employer just mentioned that I am on a permanent full time job and currently on long term assignment since 2013. I applied with this reference letter. Not sure whether CIC will accept.

I could have waited for a while because I would have got the ITA in March draw without the 50 points. :(

Still waiting for my medicals. 17-Feb AOR

Congrats Ubantu. I wish you all the best with the rest of the process. Btw, along with your medical you might also see a change in documents status and BG status sections. :)

That's true. Mostly big/reputed companies (like mine) have a standard process in place to help employees with their PR. So, they maintain standard templates in system, where, employees fill in their details and get it approved from their management.

You can try without mentioning anything about future tenure with company in your letter. By looking at your other documents, may be, CIC will not bother about it and approve your application. good luck.
