You are fortunate to work in such kind of company. Many companies not ready to provide any letter to employeejusthope said:I fall into same category and got my PPR around a week ago. My employer provided a letter stating my current tenure with them and also mentioning 1 year in future.
Indeed a lot of them are not. That's why you have to be careful from the start in saying you have a valid job offer, because without that letter, you don't.Baji81 said:You are fortunate to work in such kind of company. Many companies not ready to provide any letter to employee
100% true. But I believe CIC should specify it clearly that if an employee is working on Full-time basis with an organization then they don't to mention again their offer is valid for at least one more year. That will help many ICT folks.kryt0n said:Indeed a lot of them are not. That's why you have to be careful from the start in saying you have a valid job offer, because without that letter, you don't.

Thank you againkryt0n said:They explain very clearly what is needed:
A valid job offer has to be:
- made by one employer
- for continuous, paid, full-time work (at least 30 hours a week),
- for work that is:
for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa
not seasonal, and
-in a job that is Skill Type 0, or Skill Levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC)

It's very, very clear.

That's true. Mostly big/reputed companies (like mine) have a standard process in place to help employees with their PR. So, they maintain standard templates in system, where, employees fill in their details and get it approved from their management.Baji81 said:You are fortunate to work in such kind of company.
