Finally just got my GIC Certificare
Guys if u dont receive notification in ur yahoo or gmail or whatever id, make sure u check directly in the scotiabank id because i got mail directly there.
Will file VISA on monday. All the best guys. Dont worry, Keep on checking with scotiabank

Yes its correct! I called from Vodafone. The first time I dialed, I got the same response that this number does not exist. Make sure the first three digits are 000 and not 001.

I made a payment towards the GIC account on 20 Nov, how long should i wait before calling their customer service in order to trace the GIC certificate as the visa deadline is approaching soon?

Try calling 0018777000043...ask the customer care if your account has been credited with 10000 CAD if yes then ask him to take a request to send you GIC certi asap...I had done the same and got my certi the next day after putting up my request...I called at around 11 PM indian time..
