I had transferred 10,100 Cad for gic on 8th nov and still have not received the certificate. Scotiabank notified that they haven't received the payment yet. Visa deadline is 1st dec. Please help

did u tansfer funds from ur account or from ur fathers?

Read somewhere that name of both the sender and beneficiary should match. Its okay if the sender account is joint between you and a family member.

Even my agent told me that if u r sending from fathers account and also took a 2nd opinion from other agent. They both said it vl ok
 
Call them on 0018777000043 now and ask if they have received your payment. Call them now itself this is within their working hours.

If they have received ask them by when will you get the GIC certificate. If not, ask by when you should expect to receive.
 
I called them. They told that they have not received. They said that if ur bank has trasferred it properly, there might be problem with the intermediary bank.

There is hope!!! I called them day before yesterday and they said they havent received my funds yet. But I got my GIC yesterday at 11 PM.

The guy on the other side of the phone said, it could be that we HAVE received the funds but they may not have been applied on your account yet (it is the inward teams job of the scotiabank) and that is why the account does not show any funds. If you dont get it today, call them up tomorrow and check again. If the funds are still not reflecting you can ask them to raise a request/ case to investigate further tomorrow.
