Anyone applied or planning to apply for GIC?

is there anyone lucky here whose application is being accepted ?

did you guy notice 1 thing? they have increased administration fees from 50 $ to 100 $....

my question is really 100$ is reasonable to charge from student in the name of admin. fees?even if it is still we are hanging out to send applications.

Yaaro sign ka bta do.... Gic form both pages hav to be signed kya???? One is at the,space provided ... Apart frm tht also do we hv to put sign ? N the date in the last space below sign on form in the previous form i ws nt able to type it .... But nw in the sample they hv shown typed date in the last field .....

bro sirf last page pa he sign karna hai . And i think sample form is old and they change application .and bro muja lagta hai jub tum print karga date apna ap a jai ge. I think,may i m wrong.

And scotia bank another big mistake

in all places they mention newaccount@scotiabank.com email id to send refund request.

But in one place on application guide they mention
refundgic@scotiabank.com email id to send refund request

what's wrong with them.?

@jasmohra...hi man...i just sent the apllication form once...got that automated email in return...i think thats not a problem...when i mailed them in jan abou a query....this automated mail came..same one...and after a few hrs they replied...nd the sites hows tht they are aceepting..so guess we will hav to wait.....

this is wat i got yesterday night as well... now this means the application i sent has not been accepted ... since they were not accepting any by tht tym... I ll hav to send it again tht means....okay i did tht n got tht same msg....

I think had the mail i sent been accepted, i wud hav got a msg stating its acceptance .... .. n they say we have to date the form the day we mail it to them .. means the form I got scanned ystrday is of no se if i wish to send it again ....???????????????

@sandhuboy.. u r ryt the date gets printed thr... but read tht instruction whr they say we hav to put the same date on the form and tht means print it the same day we send it ... I got it printed n scanned on 7th feb but sent it on 11 th .. now?
but wat my main concern is ,, their reply ,, says ... we r not accepting... tht means the applicn has not been accepted.... m afraid if i send multiple forms... as it is m goin to b thrown in the bin...

i think ur application got accept do no send application again and again.u should send an enquire email to studentgic email id tell them about there automatic reply and then wait for there reply.

i think india post office work better than scotia bank. Nokia 1100

Hy... Just got a mail frm scotiabank.... They hav returned my application cz it ws on the old form saying tht i hav to submit again using new form ....
