Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Does anyone here applied for a Student Permit in the Philippines? I just got back from Canada as a tourist and I applied for a Student Permit here in the Philippines. I already paid my school in Toronto which is Everest College and the semester will start on September 3, 2012. I just wanted to know if someone here applied in the same school and can I see your timeline on submitting the application.

May question po ako. Patulong naman po:

Approved na student permit ng sis in law ko while her husband (my brother) approved na ang OWP. Their son na 3y/o, approved na rin as visitor. Pero ang 10y/o na anak nila ay denied kasi visitor's visa ang inapply namin as advised by their agent. Dapat pala student permit din kasi school age na pamangkin ko. Ang problem namin is when attaching his application at after answering the questionnaires, not eligible daw sya for a student permit. Pano kaya gagawin namin? Kawawa naman po pamangkin ko if maiiwan sya here.

Timeline:
November 2020: start online application
December 2020: biometrics
January 2021: medical
Feb 9 2021: passports request

My application was for myself - study permit, my wife - OWP, my 2 kids (16 and 10 yrs old) both visitor's visa lang. Di pa sila pwede study permit. We all got approved. My kids are both studying here in Canada now under visitor visa. Wala naman issue.

Hi. Just want to ask if there is a need for written travel authorization for SOWP traveling with the spouse international student and 3 children? Our 3 children (all of secondary school age and approved for SP) automatically received their travel authorization 3 days after passport request. But No such automatic authorization was issued for SOWP. Anyone here who has secured travel authorization for SOWP? Thank you!

No need for the spouse. My wife is on SOWP also and she didn't need one when we travelled.

Hello, ask ko lang for regular application, need po ba magsubmit muna ng application bago magrequest ang officer ng medical request? I already created regular online application kaso wala ako nakikita sa mga documents na need ng Medical. I hope may makasagot. Thank you

Hello po good day tanung ko lang po kung naka travel na po sila sa Canada , plano ko din po kasi mag travel under sowp aling with my child - student visa. Ang tanung ko po kung may mga requirements sila starting sa Naia palang to Canada . Alam ko lang po kasi yung required na covid 19 test three days prior sa flight, salamat po sa makaka sagot

Hey guys need your insight! BVL on Jan 21 2021 but it was dated April 20 2020 and still waiting. Applied Feb 2020. Sent an email with my visa office and got a reply telling that I need to do my biometrics which I have done already what I did was resend to them my BVL and raise a webform attaching my BVL. Don’t know if this is a good sign. What do u think guys?

you can do upfront med exam to save time. if you haven't paid your application fees, whenthe questionnaire asks if you have had a med exam, answer yes so that it will be included as a requirement in your list of docs to submit. hope this helps-

Nagaapply po ako ng study permit. Andto po ako sa australia ngayon and yung fiance ko po nasa pilipinas. Pwede ko po ba sya iadd kahit di pa kami kinakasal? Di po kase ako makauwi for kasal due to pandemic. Salamat po ng marami.

Kumusta po mga kababayan?

Sa mga nag aaply ng kanilang SP good luck po sa inyong lahat. Sana ay marami pa mag apply na mga pinoy, kasi kokonti lang po ang nakilala ko na mga pinoy dito, at least sa GTA. Sa Durham College ay dalawang pinoy lang nakilala ko na international students.

Sa mga nag message po sa akin dati, pasensya na po at di ko na nasagot ang mga tanong ninyo. Naging busy na po ako nung magsimula na ako mag trabaho habang nag aaral. Madali lang naman po pumasa sa mga subjects dito. Kaya lang kung hinahabol ninyo ang honour's list ay medyo mahirap po kung magta trabaho din kayo at the same time.

Sa mga magtatanong po, andito na ulit ako at handang sumagot sa mga tanong ninyo at ibabahagi ko ang aking karanasan simula ng pag aaply ko sa college hanggang sa ngayong nagtatrabaho na ako under ng PGWP.
