I applied for my student permit July 2020 with complete requirements as an SDS applicant and Got my AIP Sept 4 2020. I started my studies online in Fall 2020 and I am now on my second term (Winter 2021). I was devastated when I received my final decision on Feb 18, 2021. I was refused. Refusal was on eligibility grounds which does not make sense because I already have AIP. Looking at the guidelines from IRCC, I initially submitted complete requirements (including Biometrics, Medical, NBI, GIC, LOA, receipt of full tuition payment) so I wasn't expecting to fall under 2-stage process (please correct me if I'm wrong). I have an agent and she's excellent! She's helping me a lot but I understand the decision is out of her hands. I did my own research and came across this forum and found unfamiliar terms like BVL and PPR. Does that have anything to do with my refusal?
Hi. Just want to ask if there is a need for written travel authorization for SOWP traveling with the spouse international student and 3 children? Our 3 children (all of secondary school age and approved for SP) automatically received their travel authorization 3 days after passport request. But No such automatic authorization was issued for SOWP. Anyone here who has secured travel authorization for SOWP? Thank you!
Hi! Pwede po kaya tumawag sa embassy dito po sa Manila for follow ups? Or magtanong po regarding sa status ng application? Lodged my application last year Feb 2020 pa with complete application. Then i got my BVL last Jan 21 2021 but it was dated April 29 2020 until now po kasi wala pa din update since i got my BVL 
super worried na po ako dahil more than 1 year na simula nai-lodged ko yung application ko. Btw applied thru an agency with online regular stream.

Applied thru an agency po kasi so they keep telling me na magantay since natanggap ko naman na daw yung BVL ko. Pero po sobrang nagaalala na din po ako dahil over a month na since natanggap ko BVL ko up until now wala pa din po update.
Nasuggest na din po ako na magraise ng webform and magemail po sa manilaimmigration ang sabi naman po nila sakin they are doing their best at nagffollow up naman daw po sila on limited allowed. Kaya lang po medyo worried lang talaga ako kasi po diba usually yung final decision kasunod po siya agad ng pag received ng BVL?
Sa tingin niyo po what could be my final decision? Is it approval? Medical passed and bio completed before lockdown. Medyo confusing pa po yung araw po nareceive ko yung BVL coz it was dated April 29 2020 but i got it last Jan 21 2021
Hello, may nagaapply ba dito sa Assiniboine College in Manitoba? Parang masusungit mga International Department staff nila a. I already applied online but unfortunately not enough un subscore ko sa isang module for Duolingo, which is not specified naman sa website nila. I was just asking them if I can retake and use the same application since paid na ako sa application fee. Haay nakakafrustrate reply nun staff as if kasalanan ko. Always reply saken to wait for their email.
