@Lidaniel Hi, it took almost 3 weeks. This is because I'm from Cebu and I submitted my passport to Manila. Also, there was an issue with my transmission fee so I have to send another cheque via LBC.

Hi, am a newbie here. and got questions. Any response will be greatly much appreciated. Am still on step 1 trying to register and get an LOA from school but am just thinking ahead. Aside from my me and my parents, I have an auntie from Canada who is more than happy to help me financially too - do you think the VO will not see this in good light having an auntie from Canada who can provide means of accommodation, etc. Also, does school refund the enrollment fees if visa permit is not granted? Many thanks!

Having a sponsor is fine as long as you support it with proper documents and explanation in your SOP. For the refund, it depends on the school's policy so check it with the school.

Anyone here who got approved even if your NBI has a note "NO CRIMINAL RECORD" and attached the case details? I have a dismissed case and I have clearance from NBI and the court documents. Just wondering if this is an issue even if the case was dismissed.

Yes, last Thursday lang ako nakapag submit ng biometrics, hehe. I think so? Since my record ka na doon... Trend nowadays I've noticed mabilis ang process ng regular apps. May nakikita ako approved na in a month or two. What school and course ka?

hello! looks like the same tayo, may valid biometrics. i think mabilis kasi we lodged our application last week and our biometrics were already updated plus medical exam passed.. both updates within a week.

May question po ako. Patulong naman po:

Approved na student permit ng sis in law ko while her husband (my brother) approved na ang OWP. Their son na 3y/o, approved na rin as visitor. Pero ang 10y/o na anak nila ay denied kasi visitor's visa ang inapply namin as advised by their agent. Dapat pala student permit din kasi school age na pamangkin ko. Ang problem namin is when attaching his application at after answering the questionnaires, not eligible daw sya for a student permit. Pano kaya gagawin namin? Kawawa naman po pamangkin ko if maiiwan sya here.
