Applied for study permit from inside Canada on 17-Jun-25. My daughter's last date of admission is 9-Sep-25. She passed out from Ontario high school.

Is there a chance she can get study permit before the admission date given current situation?

Impossible to say but timeline is very tight.

If I understand correctly, this is for changing DLI. My daughter has passed high school and would need a study permit to commence studies.

I'm on a ICT LMIA exempt closed work permit. When I initially entered Canada, my daughter was issued a study permit. On renewal last year, she was issued a visitor record. Does this still (conversion from secondary to post-secondary) still apply? Does this not only apply if she was holding a study permit while holding a study permit? Her visitor record allowed her to study at secondary school.

You never said she was on VR. When did she graduate? When did SP expire? Seems like she need to wait for approval.
