Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hi, sa mga na-approve na at yung ibang nasa canada na as student, did u book a 2-way ticket? Hinanap ba sa point of entry ung return ticket nyo?

Hi. I got my visa recently, I have booked my one-way flight to Toronto. I don't think they will require a two-way flight.

At this point, I asked if there will be any complications if I had the vaccine for the second time. Since wala naman, I proceeded with it na. Positive thinking lang I guess na matatanggap My only gripe though is that hindi sila magbibigay ng copy ng med results sa akin A friend of mine headed to the US (on a work visa) recently had his medical at St. Lukes also pero wala din sila copy.

Hindi naman yata ibibigay yung medical results copy sa atin eh. Derecho na yan sa embassy?

Hi scorpio! Yup, it will be forwarded to the embassy na. I just don't get it why they can't even let me see the results of the blood work at the least The nurses just gave me the "don't worry, everything was normal in the tests" answer. ;D

Hi Floje and Scorpio, sa letter of acceptance nyo ba, stated yung 2,300 CAD deposit to get the letter of offer and the orig transcripts?

@Scorpio, binayaran mo na di ba yung tuition? were you able to get na the letter of offer? Saan ka nagbayad? ty

Nope. May subject to some conditions lang. Yung conditions ko ay to fill out and submit the supplemental form and mp3 samples of my work.Na submit ko na 2 weeks ago and they confirmed na nakuha nila. Pero yung 1st term tuition binayaran ko kahapon and I'm waiting for their confirmation. Hindi naman mandatory yung pagbayad ng first term tuition pero may deadline sila sa July.

sa akin, the letter did not state the term "condition." Sinabi lang na "in order for us to send you the letter of offer" you need to pay 2,300 blah blah and that should I be denied of the visa, a 200CAD will be deducted and the rest will be refunded. Ganito ba yung pagka-state Floje?

May nakalagay sa LOA ko na CAD 250 is non-refundable Venice pero I didn't pay any fees to get the LOA. Yung binayaran ko lang ay yung application fee which is CAD 150.

di pa cguro letter offer yun sau na pede mong ipasa for study permit application. Ganyan din kasi yung natanggap ko sa VIU MBA...sbi din sakin sa sulat I need to pay CAD 10k before they will issue me the LOA for visa application.

cguro kasi naninigurado cla na dun ka lang papasok sa knila. Mostly kasi after using their LOA, student changes their univ/college...which is allowed na since Jun 2014 by embassy as long as you will update your record sa embassy before you travel.

Hi tipsy, nalito tuloy ako. The term they used in reference sa letter na ibibigay nla sa akin after payment was "letter of offer." The letter I just recently received was a letter that I was accepted sa course and information ng tuition fee. I inquired kasi they never asked my orig transcript only the payment.

@Floje, wala akong binayaran na 150CAD. They just asked me cv, scanned passport, transcript, and the application form.

Hi Venice. They sent me the offer letter and welcome package when they accepted me. I wasn't asked to pay anything to get it.
Actually, Centennial didn't even charge me any application fee. However, the letter did tell me to pay CAD2600 to keep my seat by a certain date. I paid CAD2600 by the deadline, then added to pay for my first term tuition before I passed my visa application.

I paid through bank transfer via RCBC. Okay naman kaya lang matagal before maregister sa account mo (around 3 weeks)

Yung process natin similar. But yung package na sinasabi mo scorpio including yong letter offer, wala. Sabi nila, my application was accepted. I have to settle the amount of $$$ so they can send me the letter of offer that I would be needing when I will lodge na my application.
