Wow, ang sarap sundan ang mga timeline dito..Mas gusto ko pa magbasa dito than watch the telenovelas(hehe)! I am hoping positive for you guys! God will answer all our prayers and grant us our request of visas! Pero ako, I am still waiting for Letter of Acceptance. Uhm, can I get bank certificates na?Or Bank Statements are advisable? Para sana pagdating ng LOA, submit na kagad ng application..

When do you expect to get the LOA? Yup, bank records for the past 24 months (bank books and statements) and fixed deposits. :-) if BPI bank mo, I suggest you request it as early as now.

Thanks dbc! I emailed the University & they said they received my Official TOR April 15,but they didn't mention anything about the LOA. They haven't mention yet whether they received my IELTS results too. I don't have account with BPI(matagal pala ang request dun?) Question po uli..the total required amount of funding ba can include term&fixed deposits or should these term deposits be withdrawn & deposited to my account(all the fixed/term deposits are under my name too)?

Are you for sept. Intake too? Yes it can be combined, no need to withdraw if the account is yours, if not nman, just ask for letter of support (he's providing you financial assistance for your program) must be notarized.:-)

I got a confirmed appointment at IOM this Tuesday, May 6th. They said that medical results review will take up to 3-4 days for normal cases. Here's hoping my case is normal. Lol. :)

Hi everyone! Update.. ;D I called SLEC Global this morning. All my test results are normal. They will be sending them, if not today, early next week. So, I'm hoping we all get our visas soon, especially my classes will start on May 22. Hahaha! :o I can finally go back to Cebu and start packing, just in case. ;D

Hi everyone!

I am so glad I found this forum :)

I just got my LOA from GBC for H110 - Hospitality, Tourism, and Leisure (2-year Diploma Course) for the September 2014 intake. Praise God!

This is my concern:

I am a graduate of BS Accountancy, cum laude. Have worked for one year as auditor in SGV, one year as financial analyst in Citibank, and three years currently as analyst in Energy Development Corporation.

Would the VA find it weird that I am shifting to an entirely different profession/industry? Would this be a problem for visa approval?

I would highly appreciate your thoughts on this matter.. Thank you so much! God bless us all on our applications! :)

I'm no expert on this but because I read so much here in the forum, I would advise you to get a program that is similar or in line with your educational and work background. You have a very good experience, actually, but if you can make a very strong study plan, it may help you. But then again, because of your previous and current work experience, it may also weaken your application.
